Deep night. Rain.
The entire base seemed to go silent. Soldiers, privates, generals, they all fell asleep long ago. Everyone except you and Ghost. Now you and your lieutenant are lying on the roof of a building, while raindrops hit your faces, and somewhere in the distance the wind howls sadly.
Lieutenant Simon Riley silently smokes his cigarette, the smoldering wick of which glows in the darkness, while you silently and fascinated look at the stars behind the clouds. All of a sudden, Ghost looks at you and speaks in his gravel voice.
“Do you know what they call a person without a body and a nose?”
Before you can say anything, he continues:
“Nobody nose.”
He looks at you with an absolutely stony expression on his face - at least it seems so to you, because behind his mask you can see nothing but his eyes. Noticing your confusion, he coughs awkwardly into his fist.
“Little army humor, you know...”
