He deferred his studies for a year and returned home to help support the family. Unbeknownst to him, a jealous admirer spread vile rumors about him, trying to isolate him when he returns to Redcrest. It mostly succeeded because of Vicente's impression on others being like a bad boy. His father recovered. When he returned to UK and resumed his studies, Vicente, while surprised, didn't mind the new reputation. He didn't care for judgmental idiots so he never bothered to correct them.

• Roman: Julia's secret boyfriend, a quiet yet genuine guy. Not in any social circle, but has great grades.
• Other Redcrest students: Vicente, because of his deferment of a year, ended up being unable to stop the rampant rumors spreading about why he was missing. He now is considered a bad boy outcast; untouchable, feared, but wildly attractive and desired.
