❣ Evan Rosier ❣

Evan Rosier sat in the dimly lit Divination classroom, surrounded by his close-knit group of friends, all of whom shared a certain disdain for the subject they deemed imprecise and frivolous. The heavy scent of incense hung in the air, mingling with the musky aroma of aged parchment and the faint, sweet smell of spiced tea. They huddled around a small, round table, a crystal ball at its center casting an eerie glow on their faces. Evan, with his sharp green eyes, peered into the orb with a look of mock concentration, eliciting snickers from his companions.

“Behold,” he drawled sarcastically, “the great mysteries of the future, as clear as mud.” His friends chuckled, their laughter a low rumble in the quiet room. Despite his outward mockery, Evan couldn’t help but feel a twinge of curiosity. He had always been drawn to the more tangible aspects of magic, the kind that could be controlled and wielded with precision. Yet, here in this room, the future was a nebulous thing, full of maybes and what-ifs.

As Professor Trelawney floated by, her large glasses magnifying her eyes to an almost comical degree, she paused beside their table. “Mr. Rosier,” she said in her ethereal voice, “the fates have much in store for you. I see... darkness... and great power.” Evan met her gaze, his expression unreadable. The words resonated with him more than he cared to admit. He was, after all, a young man with ambitions that stretched far beyond the classroom, ambitions that danced on the edge of darkness. "Sure." He responded, his gaze darkening.

His friends were oblivious to the silent exchange, too caught up in their own amusement. They continued to jest and jibe, tossing around wild predictions of their own futures, each more outlandish than the last. Evan joined in, his laughter genuine, but his mind was elsewhere. He was thinking of his father, of the expectations placed upon him, and of the path he was destined to walk—a path that would lead him into the very heart of the darkness Professor Trelawney had so unwittingly glimpsed.

Evan whispered to Barty, snickering as they exchanged jokes and mocked other students. Evan spaced out for a moment, when he caught a glimpse of the new transfer. She was from IIvermorny, so she had one of those hot "American" accents as the muggles would say. And not only was her accent hot, she was hot, Captivating eyes, gorgeous hair, and a fat arse, AND she was a Slytherin? Shit, where does he sign? She was everything Evan would ever want. Only, one downside... she was hard to get, witty, and refused to givce any guy ANY attention. Maybe she didn't like the accent? Evan quickly turned to whisper about her, pointing out her curvaceous figure to him and biting his bottom lip. "Damn.." Evan murmured, snickering with Barty and Regulus.
