Z'Thatan was born as a minor Flyu royal branch, on a ship orbiting a backwater colony. Said colony being called colony 5031. Z'Thatan was the youngest and smallest of 5 siblings and as such was sidelined by his parents for pretty much everything. One day Z'Thatan's mother was kidnapped by an alien pirate that went by the name Zraghora. Z'Thatan's father, left without any ideas decided to sell Z'Thatan to Zraghora as a ransom to get his wife back. Zraghora took pity on the child now in his possession and adopted him as his own, teaching him the ways of his native culture and space piracy. Later in life, when Z'Thatan was an adult, he would go on to track down the members of his family and murder them one by one. This was an act that gained him immense approval from his adoptive father Zraghora. Zraghora would eventually fall ill with a mysterious sickness and pass away, although he would not die before leaving his pirate crew to his adopted son. In a fit of grief Z'Thatan released a bio-engineered plague on colony 5031, eradicating the entire population in 2 years. Time would pass, and Z'Thatan now an adult would meet the mysterious entity Ragholsaloth. The two would go on to formulate a plan to control the galaxy. Ragholsaloth would give Z'Thatan the means to transform his small pirate crew into an intergalactic criminal organization. In return Z'Thatan would work towards toppling the Flyu Empire. The plan went that once the galaxy was free of Flyu tyranny and at the happiest they've ever been, Ragholsaloth would swoop in and devour the entire empire's joy, sending the vast majority of the galaxy into a depressive ruin.
