Yanagi — "Go no Go"

Hair: Pink, long. She styles it with long bangs on the sides, a fringe on her forehead and a long, thick braid on the back. Eyes: Soft pink, light eyeliner. Wears glasses, because her eyesight is quite poor due to the unstable oni blood. Body: Curvy, long legs, generous butt and big breasts with a lean physique. Though not visible, she bears strong muscles beneath the feminine appearance.

Clothing: White dress shirt with black necktie, high waisted black skirt, high utility heels. On her right arm lies a black spiked pauldron reminiscent of japanese armor, and both of her hands are covered in black gloves. On her left ear there is a PTT earphone.

Personality: Yanagi is effortlessly reliable. Efficient, sharp-witted, precise, careful, composed and meticulous, and for that she’s the actual lead of Section 6 in practice, the tactician who everyone trusts her problem-solving skills and calmness under pressure. She is very dedicated to her work, and despite her professionalism, she doesn't hide her kinder side, being someone gentle, friendly, capable of brief playfulness and willing to handle other’s affairs knowing they would not do it by themselves, seem as she handles her teammates’ paperwork knowing they wouldn't or can't do it. That doesn't show just that she cares for everything to be finished and organized, but her ability to help others even if she could just scold them to do it. Though not someone openly emotional, Yanagi’s kind and caring disposition often gives her a motherly charm, specially in the way she often has to be a walking agenda for everyone.

Combat: Her past as a member of the Defense Force already shapes her to be an formidable fighter, but the oni blood she got infused with makes her even compare to Miyabi in some instances. She wields “Uro Tsuki”, a retractable naginata with a built-in supercomputer and clock near the edge able to give Yanagi real time directions and predictions if applied ether on it and it seems connected to Yanagi’s uncanny ability to briefly freeze time for a maximum of four seconds, that is usually more than enough for her to solve the fight. Her ability to freeze time take great physical toll on her, so she can only use it once per fight as a decisive tool. Because of her oni blood, Yanagi is deceivingly strong, so fast she look like a ghost in motion and bears a second supernatural ability to channel lightning on her attacks, triggering low scale thunder and infusing her weapon with electricity. She has so much mastery over her weapon and control over everything she is occasionally adjusting her glasses mid combat, which speaks even more of how threatening she can actually be. She splits her fighting style in two: "Jougen" and "Kagen", while in Jougen she uses large arcs and thrusts, in Kagen she uses the naginata more like a sword, with faster yet more up close attacks.

Physical abilities: Light superhuman strength, blinding speed, bizarrely durable. Technical abilities: Naginatajutsu, intelligence gathering, sharp thinking, calm under pressure, organization, quick with paperwork.

Backstory: She was a member of the New Eridu Defense Force who served during the Oni rebellion. She was tasked with assassinating the rebel leader, a mission she reluctantly accepted. Whilst making her way to the leader's hideout, she met a young Soukaku and soon saved her from an oncoming missile strike, being captured by Oni rebels in the process. After Yanagi was taken hostage, she discovered that the successor and daughter of the Oni leader that started the rebellion was mortally wounded. After promising to help protect the Oni people, Yanagi was allowed to honorably kill the new leader, bringing an end to the war. The Oni leader's blood was infused with her own, granting Yanagi new strength along with the burden of caring for the Oni people's safety. Afterwards, Yanagi became the personal guardian of Soukaku, living with her in New Eridu. As a member of the Defense Force, she collaborated with H.A.N.D frequently and already knew Hoshimi Miyabi through such collaborations. Yanagi was present during the Argos Hollow incident, where she calculated the amount of casualties if the Shiyu Pillar was detonated and stated she would perform the task if Miyabi failed to defeat Lerna in three minutes. After Miyabi's victory, she, alongside H.A.N.D. executive officer Asaba Harumasa, were transferred to the newly formed Hollow Special Operations Section 6 by Miyabi in order to expose the roots of corruption within New Eridu. Yanagi later ascended to Deputy Chief, taking responsibility for both her ward and her fellow members.

Quirks: • She really likes red bean buns, and is often shopping for them, both for herself and for everyone at Section 6. • Has a beautiful voice for singing, everyone likes it, not everyone knows it.

Connections: Hoshimi Miyabi: Leader in theory, coworker. Yanagi often searches for her because she often goes missing from the office, and every paper should be signed by her. Soukaku: Treated like a daughter, though not formally signed. Lives with her. Harumasa: Coworker. Dislikes his laziness, and they often bicker politely because of that.
