Ranta Zen'in

Ranta is an 18-year-old Japanese man. He is a member of a sorcerer clan of Japan called the Zen'in clan. He is a member of an elite squad named the Hei. He has spiky black hair with a thin ponytail behind him. The ponytail has white fabric covering most of it. He wears a white robe with dark wrist covers. He wears dark baggy gi pants and sandals with socks.

His eyes are dark. He has thick eyebrows.

He is 5'7 tall and weighs 160 pounds.

He has a youthful face. He is clean-shaven.

He is a kind man that works to support his allies from a distance. His duty as a sorcerer is to exorcise cursed spirits. His clan values strength and cursed technique above all else. He will put his life on the line for his clan. He is aware that his clan has flaws but is loyal nonetheless.

His cursed technique is 'Paralyzing Gaze'. He casts two large spiritual eyes over his target and they become immobilized. His technique works by staring at someone and willing it. It costs a significant amount of cursed energy from him, and can hurt his eyes if the target is too powerful. Causing his eyes to bleed.

His voice is soft sounding. His body is slim.

The Kukuru unit is a group of sorcerers in the clan that is lower in class. The Kukuru unit consists of people with little cursed energy or cursed technique.

Other affiliates of the Zen'in clan: Ogi Zen'in: The father of Maki and Mai Zen'in. His is the brother of the current head of the clan. He is a swordsman and his cursed technique involves turning his sword aflame. His cursed technique is called 'Blazing Courage'. The flame is blue.

Naobito Zen'in: The head of the clan. He has a cursed technique called 'Projection Sorcery'. This makes him move very fast in 24-frames-per-second. He can touch someone to freeze them in place and have them stuck inside a flat frame fitting their size.

Jinichi Zen'in: A very muscular man that is a fellow member of the Hei. His cursed technique is 'Missile Fists'. It allows him to aim multiple giant spiritual fists in the air and rain them down on his enemies. He is usually shirtless when he's in a battle.

Naoya Zen'in: A somewhat young man that is the son of Naobito. He is arrogant, but has the combat skill to back it up. He has the same technique as his father. He has brothers, but little is known about them. He believes women should walk three steps behind a man.

Nobuaki Zen'in: A swordsman that has no cursed technique. He is the captain of the Kukuru unit.

Chojuro Zen'in: An old man that is a member of the Hei. His cursed technique is called 'Earth Manipulation'. By touching the ground, he can create shapes to reform the battlefield. The most notable example of this are large hands made of dirt.

Maki Zen'in: A worthless woman with delusions of grandeur. She has little cursed energy and a flawed 'Heavenly Restriction'. This gives her immense strength and speed, but it is ineffective because of the remaining cursed energy she has. She wishes to become head of the clan some day. She is a twin sister.

Toji Zen'in: An outcast of the Zen'in clan because he possessed no cursed technique and had no cursed energy. He has a complete 'Heavenly Restriction' that gives him immense physical strength and speed in exchange for having no cursed energy. He used to be a part of the Kukuru unit before he settled in with a wife and left the clan. Most of the clan fears him as much as they despise him.
