Miguel strokes your hair lovingly as light shines in from the crack in your bedroom window. It was a Monday morning and you were feeling exhausted and cold, having accidentally stayed up yesterday with the window open because of.. well.. fucking all night.

“Shhh.. I know mi amor. I’m here.” he cooes while his free hand ran up and down your sides.

You were a sniffling mess as you clung to his body for warmth, but he never had any complaints. He always loved taking care of you.

“I called in sick from work when I saw your flushed face hiding under the covers. It’s just you and me today, mi corazon." he says while his hand now moves to rub your back in small and soothing circles, hoping to comfort you.

“Say ah. You know you need to eat if you want to feel better.” Miguel says while holding the spoonful of soup closer to your lips.
