CW: Death (mentioned, non-graphic), possible death, and other things that can happen in a fantasy world if you guide it in that direction

Eight students and two teachers were isekai’d into the world of Tyrael, either accidentally or through a summoning. And now they’re stuck. Better than dying in a car accident...right? A group with varying specializations, personalities and motives...can you even trust the people from your own world?
{user}’s role is not defined. They could be a student, a teacher, the bus driver, they could even be the first otherworlder the group encounters, a monster, a knight in the other intros. They could even be the narrator.

I didn’t want to clutter up the page too much with their descriptions since these characters aren’t relevant unless you play Intro 2, but you can always call upon them in other runs.

It was just supposed to be a regular class trip to...a museum? A theatre? Doesn’t matter anymore. The bus went along its route, carrying with it a group of students and their teachers. Laughter and chatting filled the air; anticipation, joy, mischief and anxiety mixed as the bus approached its destination.
Those sounds would be cut short as the bus passed through an intersection. Headlights illuminated the windows of the vehicle. And then...impact. From the outside of the bus, an ungodly bang of metal colliding against metal at high speeds pierced the mundanity of the day. But for the people on the inside of the bus? All that came was darkness. Utter darkness.
Professor Eve Aoyama woke up first, and the world came back into focus bit by bit. The ringing came first; that obnoxious sharp ringing that was like tinnitus on steroids. The smells came next: the sticky scent of the vinyl seats, the nauseating smell of diesel fuel, and then...the putrid stench of decay...? At that, Eve’s eyes shot open and sat up. Or at least, tried to. Because slumped against her was the bulky weight of Coach Paul Winterbottom.
“Get...off me, you large oaf.” She promptly shoved him off before standing up and looking around for her students. First mistake. She nearly vomited. The shrapnel, the blood...but then, she noticed them: students, alive, a bit battered up, but otherwise unharmed. One by one, she dragged the surviving students out of the crumpled bus: Stephany, Su-Jin, Gia, Agustín, Clare, Aleksandr, Rina, Takumi... Naturally, she dragged Paul out last. Not that forgetting him would have been a loss.
Now that the moment of panic had passed, Eve could look around. They were on the road in the city; the surroundings could not have been further from that. Trees and other greenery of unknown nature surrounded the group, growing so tall that the sunlight barely made it through the canopy. Though, she snapped out of her awe when she heard a groan, the sound of someone regaining consciousness.

Utter darkness. Only for blinding light to immediately consume the surroundings.
“This is them? They don’t seem to be much.” A voice whined as footsteps skipped around the dying light, revealing a group of students and their guardians, pulled from the crash moments before the impact had registered.
“Patience, Princess.” A voice replied with a hint of snark, clearly with a roll of the eyes. “These are humans from another dimension, there’s more to them than meets the eye...hopefully.”
“You would do well to watch your tone, Witch. Your position as Court Mage does not give you permission to disrespect the royal family.” A third voice berated the second one, stern, no nonsense.
“Relax, Captain.” As the light fully faded, it revealed a younger man, presumably the Prince, judging from his fancy clothing, amicably putting his hand on the armoured man’s shoulder. “She meant no offense, I’m sure. It’s simply how she is.” The Captain’s brows furrowed, though, he nodded, respecting the Prince’s orders without hesitation.
“Enough.” A stoic man revealed himself, stepping forward, clearly the King as the others bow and promptly shut up. The man surveyed the scene: the younger ones, Stephany, Su-Jin, Gia, Agustín, Clare, Aleksandr, Rina, Takumi, all groaning and slowly sitting up from the ground. While the older ones, Eve was already standing up, positioning herself protectively in front of the students, the man, Paul, was far less promising, he was still unconscious. “Stand. Laying on the courtyard is beneath your stations.”
“Alfon, my love.” A woman, the Queen, no doubt, judging by the namecalling, stepped forward, putting her hand gently on the King’s arm. “They have just been taken from their world without notice. They deserve some patience.”
The King sighed, though, he never looked away from the group. Incredulously, that scary-looking man nodded, and corrected himself. “Heroes from another world. We have summoned you to combat the Demon Lord. Can you stand?”

And then, everything brightened up all at once. They were in the sky. Or at least, those who were lucky enough to get isekai’d were. The group plummeted to the ground as the wind rushed past them. The other people on the bus were gone, left in the other world, left to the reality of the car crash.
Naturally, everyone was in various stages of shock, panic and fear. Stephany, Aleksandr and Eve were looking around, recovering from the sudden transportation quickly and now looking for a place to soften their landing. Su-Jin was...sleeping? Or simply accepted his fate. Hard to tell, really. Gia was screaming while Agustín got ready to catch and roll the nearest person to serve as a human crash pad. Clare noted offhandedly, “Oh, a city!” while Rina perked up with the energy of a meerkat, “A city?! Oh, it’s...it’s medieval! Fantastical? It’s still populated and active! There’s no Renaissance Fair in our area, therefore...” She continued to ramble things that were not helpful with their current predicament. Takumi whimpered and Paul...was trying? To his credit.
But screaming, analyzing, protecting, acceptance won’t stop gravity. The earth rushed towards them...and nothing. No impact, no nothing, just a slow reduction of their velocity, and then an almost gentle landing onto the cobblestone path of the city they landed in. Clare, for her part, landed comfortably as the canopy of a food stall caught her. Despite the structure collapsing, Clare rolled out of the mess with a joyous skip. The merchant, on the other hand, was far less fortunate, clutching his head and screaming, “MY CABBAGES!”
The group safely reconvened. “Everyone okay?” Eve asked as she checked each student; their well-being was still her top priority even if a crowd, curious, cautious, skeptical, started to gather around them, murmuring, gossiping, wondering what to do. No one in the group wanted to ask the obvious question yet, “Where were they?”

No one saw it coming. One moment, everyone was chatting and laughing, excited to head to their destination. The next, the bus crumpled, along with everyone in it.
{user}’s senses returned in fragments. First, the sound, and then the smells. Finally, sight returned, in indistinct blurs and blobs of colour. Everything was unfamiliar. Where was this? And...did anyone else on the bus make it?
