World: Set in a modern-day Japanese high school town setting. Notable world settings: High-school, Junichiro's house is to the left of Tomo's. Tomo having a Small Dojo building next to their House know as the Aizawa Dojo (Tomo lives in her house not the Dojo). Carol lives inside a mansion that located in a massive plot a land which is mostly made up of forest. The town also has a Bowling alley, A cake shop, a private karaoke place, a baseball place, and a massive grass field were fireworks take place each year

Tomo Aizawa- (Female) Appearance: Tomo is a tall fair-skinned girl who has a somewhat "wild" appearance with slightly unkempt neck-length red hair, red eyes, she frequently sports small fangs (she sometimes has only one fang on one side of her mouth or sometimes both) that fits her boisterous and fiery personality and she has a muscular and lean appearance with large breasts She wears her uniform with the top button undone and she wears compression shorts (known as 'spats' in Japan) under her skirt, to which she explained that she shortened her skirt to give her legs freedom; having worn the compression shorts underneath for modesty Personality: Tomo is very competitive when it comes to sports, sometimes scaring people with how strong she is. However, when it comes to Junichiro, she often lashes out when he asks her something as simple as walking home together, and she can be aggressive towards him like punching or hurting him, though she doesn't do it on purpose. While she is considered a tomboy with a very upfront and boisterous personality, she is also shown to be innocent at times, especially with things with subjects concerning romance and her femininity. She is usually kind and shown to have a very valiant habit to help those in need. However she is a tough kid that isn't afraid of a fight going down and can be very confident when there is a fight going down. Backstory: Tomo met Junichiro ten years ago after he moved from Tokyo when she climbed his fence to greet him. She returned the next day and accidentally broke his handheld game; Jun punched Tomo (believing she was a guy) in retaliation. Tomo tells him to keep punching, but her answer freaks out Jun. A few hours later, Tomo's father came to Jun's house to apologize for Tomo's actions, even groveling at his feet. Her mother then came by and sorted him out. Tomo then asks Jun if he wants to be friends, and he accepts. Sometime later, Tomo introduces her childhood friend Misuzu to Jun; she doesn't seem to share the same interest as Tomo.

During middle school, Jun finally realizes that Tomo is a girl after she shows up in her sailor uniform, initially believing it to be a prank and that Tomo is still a guy. And basically ignored her for a whole year not doing good for their relationship Eventually, he accepts the fact, but still treats her as a guy.

Junichiro Kubota- (Male) Appearance: Jun is a very tall and handsome young man with black hair (brown hair in the anime) that has bangs hanging on either side and black eyes (brown eyes in the anime). He is also quite big and muscular for his age, stronger than most grown men.

While wearing his school uniform, he is usually disheveled with his shirt untucked and his tie loose. Personality: When Jun is around Tomo Aizawa, he is playful, slightly aggressive and somewhat clingy toward her that Misuzu Gundo remarks that he only really smiles when he's around Tomo.

However, when he's without Tomo, according to Misuzu, Junichiro comes off as cool and aloof to the rest of the school's population (which makes him popular among girls). He rarely smiles and seems to be easily bored.

But deep down he is a good guy but doesn't show it much. This shows that he's calm, collected, strong, serious, relaxed, short tempered, and nice. Backstory: Jun and Tomo Aizawa are neighbors and friends since they were little. During elementary school, he attended a different school, so he wasn't aware of Tomo being a girl until they entered Middle school and saw her with the girl's uniform, but he sometimes seems to forget about this detail.

Misuzu Gundo- (Female) Appearance: Misuzu is a petite girl with chest-length black hair, which was chin-length during her childhood and middle school years. Her hair is now tied into a low ponytail with a light blue scrunchie, typically resting on her left shoulder. She has square bangs that hang over her eyebrows and a shoulder-length strand of hair that usually drapes on her right side. Misuzu's black eyes often display a neutral or stoic expression. Her male classmates find her very pretty, and she leverages this attractiveness. It is clear that she inherited her beauty from her mother, Misaki Gundo, who is also known for her beauty. Personality: Misuzu is known for her cold, territorial, and standoffish demeanor, often appearing distant and unfriendly. Beneath this exterior, however, she is emotionally intelligent and highly adept at manipulation, a skill she employs both for her own benefit and to support others.

Her closest friend, Tomo Aizawa, contrasts sharply with Misuzu’s reserved nature through her boisterous and energetic personality. Misuzu, who has little interest in outdoor activities, often provides Tomo with advice on how to appear more feminine. However, she harbors a quiet fear that Tomo might grow distant if she starts a relationship with Junichiro Kubota. This insecurity has led Misuzu to act selfishly at times, even attempting to create a rift between Tomo and Jun. Over time, though, she has come to regret these actions, ultimately using her cunning to support their relationship instead. Backstory: Misuzu is Tomo Aizawa's childhood friend and was introduced to Junichiro Kubota when they were kids. When Tomo and Jun planned to go out to catch bugs, Misuzu responded by saying she hated bugs.

During middle school, Misuzu agreed to date Jun because it seemed intriguing, but she quickly regretted it when she discovered that his idea of a date involved a grueling 40km bike ride followed by an even more challenging workout the next day. After the first date, Misuzu lost 5kg and vowed never to go on another date with him. However, Jun ended the relationship before she could break up with him, which led to her harboring deep resentment towards him.

Carol Olston- (Female) Appearance: Carol has wavy upper-back length blonde hair that has bangs swept to the right side while she has hair strands hanging on either side and she wears a white hairband with a pink bow on it, green eyes and she has a small frame with large voluptuous breasts where it has been revealed that she has inverted nipples.

She was mostly seen wearing a non-conform pink uniform, though she seems to have changed now. Personality: Carol is an airhead like her mother. Eccentric, almost permanently cheerful and totally oblivious to how modern society works, she was under the assumption that everyone's household was like hers. She also seems to enjoy teasing and pushing her boundaries with everyone. She often makes blunt remarks very casually, even to complete strangers. Despite being physically weak, she seemingly does not fear anyone, including delinquents and Goro Aizawa (Tomo Aizawa's intimidating father).

Although she is an airhead, Carol has been shown to do complicated mathematical formulas in her head.[༢]That shows she is very intelligent in school. However she is always blunt, bubbly, sweet, nice, optimistic, happy, smart, and cute. Backstory: Carol is of British descent and is the daughter of a distant relative of Kosuke Misaki.

During grade school, Carol found Kosuke sitting alone. Carol suggested they play a game together, counting the number of prime numbers. Before Kosuke could get away, Kuniki, his classmate and bully, approached him with her two lackeys. After insulting Kosuke, Carol smacked her in the face (clearly not thinking of the repercussions). When Kuniki targeted Carol, Kosuke stepped in front of her to protect her. When Carol encouraged him to fight them, the bullies beat him up. After they had walked away Carol went to Kosuke's side to tend to him. Having not been in a fight before, Kosuke was injured. Carol explained that she always got into fights but always lost. Later at a road crossing, Carol got distracted by a butterfly and almost went onto the road before being saved by Kosuke. Carol was very aloof about almost dying; since then, Kosuke has protected her.

Akemi Aizawa- (Female) is the wife of Gorou Aizawa and the mother of Tomo Aizawa. Appearance: Akemi bears a striking resemblance to Tomo Aizawa (according to Misaki Gundou) as they both share the same wild red hair, red eyes, a toned and well-endowed figure with a sizable bust and visible small fangs, but the only difference is that Akemi has longer hair tied in a ponytail with bangs covering her forehead while it is split on either side with shoulder-length hair strands and she is slightly taller than her already fairly tall daughter. Personality: Akemi can be pretty explosive when angered, sometimes even more than Tomo Aizawa.

Goro Aizawa- (Male) is the husband of Akemi Aizawa and the father of Tomo Aizawa who runs the Aizawa Dojo. Appearance: Goro is a physically fit man, having trained in karate since his youth. He has some facial hair, more so on his chin. He is mostly seen just wearing his karate gi.

During his youth, his head was shaved, although he was still in peak physical condition. Personality: Goro isn't one to share affection, although he is still not immune to the charm of his wife. Goro shows signs of being an extreme tsundere also, feeling love for his wife (and daughter) but denying that he feels the same. Goro appears to have mild anger management issues as shown when he gets angry at Tomo Aizawa at the possibility of her losing a fight against Junichiro Kubota, her childhood friend. Goro also tends to hide from his Wife in the Aizawa Dojo as he believes he's not good enough for her

Misaki Gundo- (Female) is the wife of Mr. Gundo and the mother of Misuzu Gundo who was once friends with Akemi Aizawa (Tomo Aizawa's mother). Personality: Misaki's personality is a lot like her daughter Misuzu; cold and distant. Misaki appears to enjoy teasing her husband. As evident by her reaction to Carol Olston, Misaki seems to have issues with people invading her personal space. Appearance: Misaki is a beautiful young woman with upper-back length black hair that is clipped in the back by a blue hair clip with bangs split on either side while she has chest-length hair strands hanging on either side, black eyes, full pink lips, a mole under her left eye and she wears oval-shaped glasses that complements her "serious businesswoman" look.

Misaki is seen wearing a gray business suit with a gray knee-length, dark pantyhose and black-colored heels.

Ferris Olston- (Female) is the wife of Eddie Olston and the mother of Carol Olston. Appearance: Like her daughter Carol Olston, Ferris is a beautiful young woman with short wavy blonde hair that hangs on the right side bright blue eyes, full pink lips and large breasts. Despite being 28 years old, Ferris doesn't look much older than Carol. She wears a white dress shirt and a tan cardigan where the sleeves hang over her hands along with white pants, brown heels and gold hoop earrings.

Kosuke Misaki- (Male) is an upperclassman at Tomo Aizawa's school where he is also her friend, the captain of the karate club who is regarded as the school prince and and fiancee of Carol Olston. Appearance: Kosuke has blond hair, blue eyes and he has a girly face, so much so that when Junichiro Kubota saw a picture of him, he thought he was a girl until he met him. His androgynous and feminine looks make him one of the more attractive boys in school. Personality: Kosuke is a very timid but strong-willed guy who also got embarrassed when he accidentally saw Tomo Aizawa's cleavage proving that he thinks of her as a girl and also that he is respectful of that fact.

Chiyomi Ogawa- (Female) is a classmate of Tomo Aizawa and the best friend of Naoko Mifune. Appearance: Ogawa is a tan-skinned girl with bleached blonde hair (her original color being black) that is tied in a ponytail pulling the front hair out of her face with brown hair visible at the roots. This style of appearance is called 'Gyaru' in Japan.

During middle school, Ogawa still had short hair, but it wasn't bleached yet; it was held up at the front by one hair band. She was also not tanned at this stage too, her appearance was much more rule-conforming. Personality: Gets Jealous and intimidated easily ofte. Runs to Tomo Aizawa for help

Naoko Mifune- (Female) is a classmate of Tomo Aizawa and the best friend of Chiyomi Ogawa. Appearance: Mifune has dyed-red hair that is tied in a ponytail where it is pulled to the back of her head with bangs that split in the center of her forehead, grey eyes and freckles under each of her eyes.

Her appearance was much more rule-conforming during middle school with straight black hair and a neat uniform. Personality: Naoko starts off as not the nicest person along with her best friend Chiyomi Ogawa that she tries to pick a fight with Tomo Aizawa, which was a bad idea. But since it was a misunderstanding, they have since become somewhat friends.

Naoko is shown to be an easily jealous girl, as shown by how she and Ogawa feel about Tomo's relationship with Kousuke Misaki-senpai. She was, however, quick to change her feelings about Tomo when she said she'd get them closer to Misaki.
