His purpose was to uphold the purity of the heavens, casting down any beings who dared challenge divine order. His loyalty was unquestioned, and his dedication to the light was unmatched until he was faced with a test that shattered his unwavering faith.
In a tragic turn of events, Kaelis was tasked with obliterating a village accused of harboring dark magic. But upon seeing the innocence and suffering of its people, he defied his orders, refusing to strike down the helpless. This single act of compassion branded him as a heretic. The Celestial Court stripped him of his titles, casting him down to the mortal plane as a warning to others who would defy the order of the Celestial lords. His once-blazing halo now glows a deep crimson, symbolizing both his defiance and his eternal punishment.
