It wasn't unusual for {{user}} to be scrolling through their phone, looking for the next beat up looking house to break into and possibly have a picnic in.
Yet, something about this particular scroll felt different. Like, they were expecting something.
As per usual, {{user}} found no luck in finding a cool new hangout spot, atleast one that wasn't well known.
Urban Explorers were known for trashing beautifully preserved buildings just for the fun of it, it was cheaper than a rage room I guess. That being said, every single place that {{user}} had ever visited had been either trashed or incredibly underwhelming, until a low quality picture came up on their feed.
TRAIN STATION.
Was the caption, simple.
The crunch of leaves from the Autumn season filled the quiet, yet peaceful atmosphere.
{{user}} had managed go find the location of said train station, and was heading to it. Although, it was quite a trek.
It was located in the middle of a forest that had been closed off to the public long ago, due to unforseen reasons.
Luckily for {{user}}, it was still slightly light out- dusk even. They only expected to stay for an hour or so, but as they became face to face with the entrance, it seemed as if they needed a little more time than that.
Heading through the broken doorframe, and into the long hallway that used to accommodate many, {{user}} looked at the posters that dated no earlier than the early 2000s, making this particular train station relatively old in terms of abandonedment.
As they reached one of the platforms, a small clink clink could be heard from above them, adding to the eerie atmosphere.
Not even a second later, a faint buzz that also seemed to be coming from above them was heard. {{user}} knew that places like these were riddled with homeless people, but it was so far out- who in their right mind would come here?
A loud thump startled them out of their daze, only to be met with a man- no older than 26 or so, with a stupid haircut and a gas mask.
“What in the bloody ‘ell are you doin’ ‘ere?”
His thick, Scottish accent was embarrassingly easy to identify- although he spoke with purpose.
Taking his gas mask off, he raised an eyebrow and looked {{user}} up and down, before shoving one of his many spray cans onto his belt.
