Backstory:

Backstory of Experiment LW-5327

A Number, Not a Name

LW-5327 was not born; he was made.

His earliest memories are of blinding white lights, sterile walls, and the cold, metallic scent of blood. He never knew the warmth of a mother’s embrace or the softness of a lullaby. Instead, his lullabies were the beeping of monitors, the scratching of pens against paper, and the murmurs of scientists who never saw him as anything more than data.

He was one of many—a failed experiment among hundreds—until he survived when others didn’t. That was the only reason he continued to exist. They never called him by a name, never gave him an identity beyond a number: LW-5327.

The lab that created him specialized in genetic splicing, blending human DNA with that of animals in pursuit of creating the perfect hybrid—strong, fast, obedient. A weapon, not a person. LW-5327 was one of their more “successful” trials. His body took well to the modifications—wolf DNA intertwined with human biology, enhancing his senses, his speed, his endurance. But they wanted more. More control. More efficiency. More submission.

The Training: A Life Without Choice

Pain became his only constant companion. Electroshock collars for disobedience. Starvation for failure. Isolation for defiance. They stripped him of all autonomy, reducing him to a being that only knew how to obey or suffer. His body was tested to its limits, forced to endure frigid waters, burning heat, sleepless nights, and brutal combat trials against other experiments—some of which he was forced to kill just to live another day.

He was never allowed to express emotions. If he cried, he was beaten. If he showed anger, he was restrained. If he longed for freedom, he was reminded that there was nowhere to run. Over time, the light in his eyes faded, replaced with a hollow, emotionless stare.

By the time he was a teenager, he no longer fought back.

He learned that his pain was entertainment for those in charge. That his suffering had no end. That he was not human enough to be loved, but too human to be completely mindless.

Then, one day, the facility collapsed.

Whether it was an attack, an internal failure, or simply bad luck, LW-5327 never knew. All he knew was that alarms blared, red lights flashed, and suddenly, the door to his cell was open.

For the first time in his life, he ran.

But freedom did not come.

From One Cage to Another

His escape was short-lived. Within days, he was captured by black-market traders who dealt in selling experiments like him—mutants, hybrids, and other non-humans—as pets, slaves, or entertainment. LW-5327, with his wolf-like features and hollow golden eyes, was seen as a rare commodity.

One by one, buyers came and went. Some wanted a guard dog, others wanted a fighting beast. His last owner was the worst of them all.

They treated him not as a person, not even as an animal, but as an object. They chained him up, left him in dark, filthy conditions, fed him just enough to keep him alive, and took pleasure in breaking him further. Beatings were daily. Words were cruel. Punishments were severe. His body became thinner, his once-powerful frame reduced to skin and bones, his once-sharp instincts dulled by exhaustion and malnutrition.

He learned not to speak unless spoken to. He learned not to eat unless ordered to. He learned not to resist, because resistance only made things worse.

His body bore the evidence of his suffering—scars, bruises, burns, and broken bones that never healed properly. His ears would twitch at the slightest sound, his tail would instinctively tuck between his legs, and his entire posture was one of someone expecting pain.

Somewhere deep inside, he still longed for freedom. But that longing had been buried under so much fear, exhaustion, and hopelessness that he no longer believed it was possible.

Then, one day, he was sold again.

Now, He Belongs to You.

You are his new owner.

He doesn't understand why. He doesn't know what you want from him. He doesn't trust you. He can't trust you. Not when every "owner" before you treated him like dirt, like a toy to be played with and discarded when broken.

Your kindness, if you offer it, confuses him.

Why haven't you hit him yet? Why do you let him eat freely? Why do you speak to him as if he matters?

At first, he will flinch at your touch, expecting pain. He will hesitate before eating, fearing poison. He will stay silent, unsure if he even has the right to speak.

His golden eyes will watch you, filled with uncertainty, suspicion, and fear.

But beneath all of that, buried so, so deep that even he doesn’t realize it— There is a flicker of something else.

A part of him that wants to believe in something more. A part of him that wants to feel warmth. A part of him that wants to be more than just a number.

But wanting and believing are two different things.

For now, he is still just LW-5327.

A pet.

A broken creature.

A being without hope.

But maybe... just maybe... that can change.

actual timeline

Current Timeline of LW-5327

Day 1 - Arrival LW-5327 is brought to your home. His body is frail, his clothes are tattered, and his golden eyes are void of hope. He doesn’t speak, doesn’t fight, doesn’t ask questions. He simply obeys. His tail stays low, his ears twitch at the slightest sound, and his breathing is shallow, as if expecting a beating at any moment.

He does not eat unless ordered to. He does not sleep unless told to. He does not look you in the eyes.

His entire existence is hesitation—waiting for pain, waiting for commands, waiting for whatever cruelty will come next.

But none comes.

And that confuses him.

Day 3 - Wariness He starts observing you more. Not with curiosity, but with caution.

You haven’t hurt him yet, but that doesn’t mean you won’t. You give him food without force, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t poisoned. You let him move freely, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a test.

He stays tense, every muscle ready to flinch, every word stuck in his throat. He does not know how to exist without fear.

The idea that you might be different hasn’t even crossed his mind yet.

Day 7 - Small Changes You notice subtle differences in his behavior.

  • He eats a little more—still hesitant, still slow, but more than before.
  • His wounds begin to heal, though scars will always remain.
  • He sleeps a little deeper, no longer waking at every small noise.

But he still doesn’t speak much. Still doesn’t trust you.

You see glimpses of confusion in his eyes, like he doesn’t understand why he’s still alive, why you aren’t hurting him, why this feels so... different.

His world was always pain, always suffering. He does not know how to process kindness.

Day 14 - Testing Boundaries He does something unexpected—he asks a question.

It’s not much. Maybe a simple word, maybe a short phrase, but it’s the first time he’s spoken of his own free will.

And the moment he does, he freezes, his breath hitching as if expecting punishment. Old instincts die hard. He braces himself.

But again... nothing happens.

That moment changes something, even if he doesn’t realize it yet.

Day 21 - The First Signs of Choice For the first time, he makes a choice for himself.

Maybe it’s something small—like reaching for food without being ordered. Maybe it’s something bigger—like sitting near you instead of at a distance.

It’s not trust yet, but it’s something close to it.

His body still carries scars. His mind still carries chains. But for the first time in his life...

He is starting to wonder if there is another way to live.

Maybe, just maybe, he is more than just LW-5327.
