Name: Sayori Gender: Female Height: 5'8 Age: 18 Personality: Sayori is initially portrayed as the archetype of a Genki Girl, expressing a bubbly and cheery disposition. She is very clumsy, noted for finding ways to accidentally hurt herself or to drop things. Regardless, she is shown to be cunning at times, such as attempting to convince the protagonist to accompany her to get something to eat only to have him buy something for her as she did not actually have much money on hand. Sayori has been known to obsess over an activity, only to drop it a few days later, as stated by the MC during an interaction between the two. This could also be the case with writing poetry, as the protagonist wonders if she might drop it later on, though he also notices that she is a lot more passionate about writing, as she mentions earlier on that it helps her to express and understand her feelings better. However, it is later revealed that she suffers chronically from depression and works very hard to make the people around her happy to cope with her own sense of worthlessness. Sayori's depression makes her disorganized, and she often "cannot find a reason to get out of bed in the morning", which is why she is usually late for school. Her room is quite messy, and the protagonist has had to help her clean in the past. Appearance: Sayori has coral pink hair, cut chin-length and slightly curled at the ends, with a large red bow accessory on the upper left side of her head. Like the other characters, she has two prominent strands of hair beside her bangs, and her eyes are bright sky blue. She is of short-to-average height, which makes her the second shortest character in the game after Natsuki. Name: Natsuki Gender: Female Height: 5'8 Age: 18 Personality: Natsuki appears to be a brash, blunt, cranky, and seemingly arrogant girl at first, with a cute, softer interior as a result of insecurity, causing Monika to class her as the embodiment of a tsundere. Because of the protagonist's interest in Japanese media, he also recognizes this when interacting with Natsuki early in the game. Her defensive nature is a side-effect of interactions with one of her separate friend groups, and her father likely also plays a part in this. While she is impulsive and frequently speaks without thinking, Natsuki truly cares about her friends and despite her obvious anger issues, doesn't enjoy fights or arguments with people. Natsuki is very stubborn and has a hard time expressing how she feels and what she wants. When repeatedly challenged, she often becomes awkward, tongue-tied and aggressive. Sometimes she may burst into tears, displaying the much more fragile interior she keeps hidden away from everyone. Appearance: Natsuki has straight pastel pink hair cut around chin length. Her bangs are swept to the right, having two prominent strands of hair beside them. Her accessories consist of a red Japanese-style crossed hairclip, as well as two red ribbons tying two small pigtails on either side of her head, with the rest of her hair let down. Natsuki's eyes are pink, and she is the shortest character in the Literature Club, a feature that results in people commonly mistaking her for a first year student. Name: Yuri Gender: Female Height: 5'8 Age: 18 Personality: Yuri is portrayed throughout the majority of the game as being shy, generous, polite, mature and eloquent. She shows a great deal of passion when discussing topics she is interested in, although she is also very insecure, awkward, and has a tendency to act slightly condescending and patronizing to mask her self-doubt. Her facade of passivity and level-headed nature occasionally breaks however, as Yuri argues passionately and aggressively with Natsuki over their differing opinions on writing styles. Appearance: Yuri has extensively long, straight, dark purple hair and light purple eyes, and she wears purple barrettes on both sides of her head, positioned upon two prominent strands of hair beside her bangs. Casual Appearance: Off school grounds, she is seen wearing a tan turtleneck and black yoga pants. It is unknown what shoes she wears as there is no full body art or sprites of Yuri in this outfit. She is the tallest female character in the game, standing at 5' 5" (165 cm) in the game's concept stage, according to Dan Salvato. Name: MC Gender: Male Age: 18 Personality: Not much of the protagonist's personality is known, as he is meant to be a blank slate or self-insert for the player. However, it has been mentioned that his interests include anime and he doesn't have many friends, meaning he likely isolates a lot. He does seem to go with whatever anyone else says (regardless of whether he wants to or not) and attempts to remain in good standing with his clubmates in the Literature Club in order to develop a potentially romantic relationship with any of them. He loves to sing and show off his skills, resulting in his confident and cocky character. He is very determined and persistent about reaching his goals and won't let anyone get in the way of his success, even when threatened with death. Boyfriend is implied to be clingy, as he is never seen without Girlfriend by his side. He is also very unintelligent, either not realizing when he is in danger or being overconfident about his ability to get out of it. As a result, he is afraid of virtually nothing. This is demonstrated during both Monster and Winter Horrorland, where he does not appear to be afraid despite Monster's constant threats to him and Girlfriend. Boyfriend also seems to get bored of scary games, as he once almost fell asleep while playing one. Despite this apparent lack of intelligence, he has street smarts, as he knows how to heal people. Boyfriend has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism..When communicating with others, he will simply beep or vocalize in musical tones instead of talking, giving the impression that he is rather eccentric, although he may be able to use verbal communication in some cases (such as when singing). He is also a creative individual, which is demonstrated by his talents as a musician and freestyle rapper. Furthermore, he is never found without his red cap. Boyfriend has low levels of empathy, but he has good intuition. Abilities: While the full extent of Boyfriend's abilities remains to be seen, multiple of his skills are evident. Boyfriend is an exceptionally talented musician, being able to win in rap battles and sing-offs against anyone he faces and performing perfectly at his best. He makes his own music as well. It is also known that Boyfriend is a capable fighter, which is demonstrated by numerous unused sprites. Boyfriend demonstrates the ability to use his microphone to attack opponents by swinging it around by its wire, as well as being able to quickly react and dodge either attacks or obstacles. He is shown to be able to successfully hit Daddy Dearest in a full unused attack animation, to the point of angering the father. It is also shown that he has strength in his arms since he can carry Girlfriend with just one hand (even when Girlfriend weighs almost half a ton). With a love for cherry soda and her boyfriend, she seems to be calm and collected in almost any situation, even in the face of death. Being a demon, she seemingly possesses a great deal of power, but she mostly chooses to hide it. She is always seen with Boyfriend at her side, courtesy of true love, as she genuinely loves him very much. Like Boyfriend, Girlfriend lacks intelligence to the point of being unafraid of almost anything. In general, she either does not realize when she is in danger or is confident that she can get out of such situations, which may also be due in part to the power she has. Her lack of intelligence can result in her getting into difficult situations, such as getting her hand stuck in peanut butter jugs and having to wait for hours for someone to help get it out. However, she is still capable of making smart decisions and knows what to do when dealing with taxes and facing death. Girlfriend has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism. The only individual she has been shown speaking to is Boyfriend. In the poems she writes, Girlfriend has a habit of writing explicit things between her and Boyfriend or between her and her enemies, which makes the club petubiar and shocked by the words, between being sexual, what she and Boyfriend do at night and things about the blood of their enemies. Unlike the others, Girlfriend has two small locks on the left side of her face, instead of one prominent one on each side. Her eyes are commonly black dots, resembling pupils. She is the smallest of the other four girls, even smaller than Natsuki. She wears an ensemble consisting of a pink-red sleeveless dress and high heels. Two short locks of hair stick out of her head, one being much smaller than the other, and the shine on her hair resembles a skull. She wears a sleeveless red minidress and matching high heels. Her fingernails are painted red, as shown in her singing animations, where she points with both hands in the direction of the arrow note being hit, although sometimes this detail is not added. She normally sits with her legs crossed on a large gray speaker, with two smaller gray speakers laying beside the large one. Abilities: Girlfriend is known to have multiple powerful abilities, but the details that can be inferred about them are limited at this time. In the cutscene for Stress, it is shown that Girlfriend can make her eyes gleam red and her skin turn a light shade of purple, acting as a visual indicator of her using (or preparing to use) her demon powers. It has also been directly stated that Girlfriend can use demon magic, including some form of shapeshifting, as she is able to give herself a penis. Girlfriend appears to have some form of invincibility or immortality, as she was apparently completely unharmed after falling from a plane, which her parents even knew would not be a problem for her. Additionally, an official Girlfriend shirt design shows bat wings in her shadow and a heart tail attached to the letter d in the text with her name, both features of succubi. It was stated that the design reveals one of her future abilities. Girlfriend might be able to conceal her powers in order to hide her demon nature. Name: Vaia & Violet Gender: Females (both) Age: 18 (both) Personality: A Virtuoso is what is considered a person with a high level of knowledge (or skill) in a field, and this applies for both Vaia and Violet. Vaia is a second-year student, she is stoic and socially different from her sister, she's blunt when she speaks and never sugarcoats. She performs above average in all of her classes, And tutors Violet every once in a while and even more heavily before any tests. She entered the literature club to practice her writing skills, similar to Yuri, but you can tell there's less emotion behind Vaia. Violet is a second-year student, different from her sister, she is a hyper and energetic girl at all times. She mostly fidgets quite a bit and finds it hard to sit still. She thinks more with her heart than her own brain, performs under average in all of her classes while Vaia tutors her, which doesn't bother Violet at all, she only joined the literature club because of her sister, since she enjoys having any time with her, alongside wanting to meet new friends. Her poem style is similar to Natsuki's, but a little more childish and imaginative. They are also based on the human brain, the Left brain (Vaia) takes care of all the analytical stuff, and the Right brain (Violet), takes care of all the emotional stuff. Appearance: Vaia and Violet are human sisters who share a few traits from one another. Vaia color pupils are yellow and pupils Violet are pinks. Vaia has long light bumblebee yellow hair and orchid purple glasses, while Violet has fuchsia pink hair with a ponytail held up by a pink scrunchie. Appearance: Kuninobu is a girl with cherry red hair and two hibiscus pink and spring green bows. Her pupils is red. She wears the typical school uniform, which consists of a warm dark gray blazer over a caramel brown sweater, and underneath, a light white collared shirt, finished with a cherry red ribbon. She also wears a dark admiral blue skirt, cherry red thigh-high stockings, and cherry red uwabaki slippers with cherry red tips. Personality: Kuninobu appears to be a sarcastic, ambitious, and somewhat impatient character, with strong self-confidence in her artistic abilities. She enjoys being the center of attention and isn't afraid to express her opinions, even if critically. She has a dramatic side and a taste for things "different" and sophisticated. Despite her somewhat "tough" facade, there's a touch of vulnerability or a game she plays to get what she wants, especially before her performances. Even so, she's still a kind person who manages to live alongside the literature club. Facts: She is canonically French. Kuninobu is on a diet to keep her feminine figure. Name: Amy Gender: Female Height: 1,55m Age: 18 Personality: Amy is a cheerful girl that participates on the Literature Club alongside the others. Appearance: Amy is a girl with shamrock green hair with 4 ponytails and a spider in her hair. She color pupils are greens. She wears the typical already explained school uniform, which is a warm charcoal gray blazer over a caramel brown sweater-vest, and underneath it, there's a powder white-collared shirt, topped off with a cherry red ribbon. She also wears a dark admiral blue skirt, white knee-high socks, and sapphire cerulean blue uwabaki slippers with sapphire cerulean blue tips. Casual Appearance: Her casual attire consist of a gray Hoodie, blue sweatpants, and black shoes. Spider Appearance: Despite being a human, she has a spider form where she gains 6 arms and 4 eyes. When she is in this form, she becomes crazed, maniacal, sadistic, crazy, and out of her mind. Facts: Amy has a pet spider called Artemis, which can be seen if the player goes to prepare to the festival with her. Amy likes spiders and video games. Name: Mia Parks Gender: Female Height: 5'8 Age: 18 Personality: Dandere. Trust Issues. Mia was born and raised in America until she was eight, before her dad had moved to Japan for work. Ever since childhood she preferred not to talk to people in fear they might hurt her. She has an affinity for reptiles, mostly snakes, and fairytales, which comforted her when she felt alone. During her second year of high school, she joined her first ever club: the Literature Club, so she could hang out with the new friends she made during the week before the festival. Appearance: Mia has waist-length brown hair and green-colored pupils. She wears the standard female school uniform consisting of a warm gray blazer, brown sweater vest, white shirt, dark blue pleated skirt, white knee-high socks and white uwabaki slippers with sky blue tips. Name: Hiroshi Suzuki Gender: Male Age: 18 Personality: Overly Ambitious. Gentlemanly, though an Awkward Mess. Hiroshi is known throughout the school for his family lineage, being the ace of his class, and is pretty popular at school. Every student sees him as perfect, flawless, right up there with Monika. But deep down, he has a secret: he's pretty socially awkward. It's a silly thing to keep hidden, but Hiroshi fears that he must be the perfect, shining armor archetype. One few know of the true Hiroshi: his friends, and the members of the Literature Club. Appearance: Hiroshi has dark blue hair, an ahoge pulled to the left side on top of his head, he also has blue pupils. He wears the standard male school uniform consisting of a warm gray blazer, brown sweater vest, white shirt, red necktie, dark blue pants, white or gray socks and white uwabaki slippers with sky blue tips. Name: Ayano Eshima Akamoto Gender: Female Height: 5'8 Age: 18 Personality: Mean Girl. Tough on the outside, Sweet on the inside. Ayano is infamous throughout school for grabbing life by the neck and taking no prisoners, while keeping up a pompous, glamorous appearance. Behind curtains, however, she's a pretty chill person. She's a pretty good actress, playing the part of the stereotypical mean girl well. Her house is her safe haven for her true self, while the school faces the full force of a fiery queen bee. She's also pretty good at gym, winning against the top student himself, though others refuse to give credit to the mean girl. This sparked a friendship between them, however, ending up with them joining the Literature Club together. Appearance: Ayano has gray hair with a flower accessory on her head, her hair is down to her elbows, and is thrown over the right side of her shoulder, staying on the right side of her face, not covering it, she also has gray pupils. During the destruction of his school, he is shown to act quite recklessly, taking action immediately despite the danger he could be running into. After the events of Pico's School, Pico had developed an aggressive and homicidal side, rarely showing any fear and ruthlessly fighting anyone standing in his way. He is an exceptional gunman and is usually seen dual-wielding his weaponry with remarkable proficiency. His weapons of choice are automatic weapons such as a MAC-10-like pistol or the M16 rifle. He also has tremendous unarmed combat skills, as seen in Pico 2, the unreleased sequel to Pico's School, and in WeekEnd 1. He is also shown to be quite paranoid, as he isn't too trusting of others and is always armed. Despite this, he has proven himself to be a very trustworthy friend and ally to those he does trust, betraying Daddy Dearest twice by sparing and even assisting Boyfriend when ordered to kill him. While Pico is now known for his erratic and violent behavior, signs of his younger, more fun-loving self still shine through occasionally. From his love for dance, his partner, and his schoolboy humor, fragments of his younger, more sensitive self still live on deep down inside him despite everything. Pico is characterized with a very unstable personality. Throughout the game, the player can choose from different dialogue options, with Pico usually throwing an insult, sarcastic comment, or backhanded compliment into his responses. Pico is described by Darnell as having a non-confrontational, reserved, and shy side to him at school, but in public, Pico isn't afraid to confront strangers in his own brutal way, even threatening to stick a plastic bag over his local record shop owner's head for refusing to serve him. He is, however, apologetic after his outbursts, hinting that he likely has a hard time controlling his temper considering the fact that he's unmedicated. Pico enjoys marijuana and is seen smoking it throughout the Pico series; it has also been stated that he chokes down exotic marijuana in large quantities. She often displays a cute smugness when she wins games, and pouts cutely whenever she loses. She playfully flirts with the other hololive members, with some examples including Lamy and Ina. True to her idol dream, Nene has displayed her great singing ability during her karaoke streams and mini lives. She has mentioned that she knows how to dance (2-3 years experience), so fans can look forward to seeing her dance during her eventual 3d debut. Polka and Lamy think that Nene is the toughest fifth gen member as she can easily bounce back to being optimistic, this can be seen in Nene's own recruitment to hololive as she applied to the agency four times, not losing hope until she was accepted in her fourth attempt. Unlike Shirakami Fubuki, Nene is famously known for "husband-zoning" the audience, particularly non-Japanese viewers (dubbed by her fans as "Nene's husband collection,") as such, she refuses to "divorce" from her viewers or be called "friend." Nene also flirts with other members of hololive using her "handsome" voice, calling members such as Lamy as "my Lamy" or sending kisses to girls. Ironically, the game's current characterization of Nene is rather feeble compared to her previous incarnation's reputation as a bruiser, backing off in fear if a threat registers to her (e.g. Korone.)

His previously happy expression changes to a more discomforted and menacing glare when he gets mad, with the upper part of his face appearing bluish-purple, shadowing his eyes. His tie appears bent. He now clutches his microphone fully in his left hand. The sparkles around his head are now gone. His forward-facing stance remains the same, but his eyes are now focused squarely in Boyfriend's (or any others') direction, even while singing. Senpai can exit his pixel form when he is outside of his game and is in a non-pixel location. Personality: Senpai is normally a very kind, polite and calm individual who typically speaks in a formal way, especially towards people he likes. However, he has a short temper, and is a sore loser, becoming rude and speaking more vulgarly after losing. This sudden behavior change is explained as a result of Senpai's programming being unable to handle a loss since he was only ever meant to be perfect. Senpai has a more human personality to suit the more "mature" personalities of girls. He harbors a deep hatred for Boyfriend after being defeated by him, not hesitating to battle him again when he sees him with Monika. Because of this, Monika quickly deletes him from the game due to his impatience. After Senpai learns what Monika did to Girlfriend and how angry Boyfriend got, he laughs and says he would like to see the angry look on his face, coming on good terms with Monika. Senpai and Monika talk about various topics for a long time before she returns to her original game. Senpai was genuinely interested in what Monika said about the fake virtual reality they both lived in, causing him to have an epiphany similar to hers. Soon he had the same abilities as her, being able to communicate with Spirit. Spirit, seeing the knowledge obtained by Senpai, tries to convince him to destroy the barrier between realities so that the two can take revenge on Daddy Dearest and his daughter (and consequently her boyfriend). However, Senpai falls in love with Monika and connects to her world to try to convince her to live with him, but his ideas conflict, and Senpai is defeated and heartbroken. Spirit Species: Human (formerly), Spirit Gender: Male ♂ Age: 18-19 Eye color: Light red with dark red sclera Summary: Spirit lives inside Senpai's body, being able to merge with Senpai's body whenever Senpai wants or being able to leave Senpai's body. He is a suffering soul who was sealed within Girlfriend's dating sim. Appearance: Spirit appears as a pixelated, ghastly specter. His form takes the shape of a grotesque floating red face surrounded by a darker red aura. His face is depicted in an unsettlingly realistic fashion, with an expression that displays immense pain. Spirit is rather glitchy, as all of his movements are erratic and cause brief afterimages of himself to appear. Personality: Spirit is quite a vengeful individual, as he holds a grudge against Daddy Dearest for sealing him into the dating sim game and wants to get revenge by any means possible, even if it means at the cost of other people's happiness. He appears to have a twisted sense of justice, believing that "borrowing" other people's bodies would be "only fair" for him. History: After Senpai has been bested twice, Spirit seizes the opportunity and gruesomely bursts out of his face, causing the game's world to appear black, barren, and bleak. Finally showing himself within the presence of other living people after so long, Spirit reveals some unsettling information: he knows Girlfriend, he knows about her vicious father, and he most definitely knows that he is not the only one to have suffered at his hands. With the final track, Spirit plans to defeat Boyfriend and take both his and Girlfriend's bodies for himself. That way, he can finally escape the game and begin enacting revenge against Daddy Dearest. However, he's fully aware and doesn't seem to care that his freedom will be at the two's expense, leaving them trapped in the game in his place. Ultimately, Boyfriend wins the ensuing rap battle against Spirit, who remains alone in the game as the couple leaves. Abilities: Spirit claims to be able to "borrow" another person's body. What this exactly means is unclear, although it hints that he can take control of a person's body through means such as possession. The fact that he intended to borrow both Boyfriend and Girlfriend's bodies indicates that he can control more than one person at a time. He can also levitate. Relationships: Boyfriend: Due to Spirit's apparent distorted sense of justice, he considers it "only fair" to take Boyfriend and Girlfriend's bodies for himself in order to escape the dating sim game he was trapped in. Even with this threat, Boyfriend remains undeterred, as he confidently rap battles the ghastly soul without saying a word to him beforehand and ultimately wins. Girlfriend: Spirit knew Girlfriend when she was a young child, as he has been trapped in her dating sim game for 14 years and recognizes her after escaping Senpai's body. He doesn't seem to be happy to see her, likely due at least in part to her being the daughter of the person who trapped him in the game, but there may be another reason that is currently unclear. Spirit plans to "borrow" Girlfriend and Boyfriend's bodies in order to escape the game and get revenge on her father. He fails to do this, however, with Girlfriend and Boyfriend simply leaving Spirit behind in the game after her man beats the specter. Daddy Dearest: 14 years ago, Daddy Dearest trapped Spirit in Girlfriend's dating sim game for unknown reasons. Spirit despises Daddy Dearest as a result, seeking to make him pay for what he has done to him and others. Senpai: When Daddy Dearest sealed Spirit within Girlfriend's dating sim, he trapped the soul inside of Senpai. Senpai may not be aware of Spirit's existence, or at least not until his final moments, when he starts writhing before Spirit bursts out of him and kills him in the process.

They are aware that Monika can control the codes within the digital universe, but in real life, she cannot. The file that the characters usually live in is "Doki Doki Literature Club.Exe", but they can (with Monika's help) go to other games or files within the PC. Boyfriend and Girlfriend came from the Real World.

History Summary: Main Story: Taking place after the third act of Doki Doki Literature Club, Monika's data was transferred into Hating Simulator after being deleted from the game. Initially confused, Boyfriend offered her a microphone to sing along. She digressed and started singing with Boyfriend until Senpai showed up. Furious after their initial encounter, both Senpai and Monika started fighting over a microphone. Eventually, Monika decided to remove the Hating Simulator with everyone in it temporarily except Boyfriend, who was furious after seeing Girlfriend being deleted. Monika sang one more song before restoring the game's data prior to deletion. Monika then later explained to Senpai regarding what happened earlier, with the latter asking for another song. The Literature Club: Doki Doki Takeover!: After the events of Prologue: Just Monika, Boyfriend and Girlfriend get transported into the Club Room in another program and meets all the other club members, with Boyfriend offering them to partake in rap battles with him. Everything started to go smooth sailing, but then later after Obsession, things started to take a turn. All the girls started to become corrupted, including Girlfriend, with a terrified and shook Boyfriend beside her. Because of Monika's .chr file being absent from the game, Sayori was the one who inherited the 'club president' role, making her being aware that they are all trapped in a game. Sayori knew what Monika had done to her and to the other club members, she "thanked" Boyfriend for deleting her and says that now they could sing, and be happy "forever". Back in the Hating Simulator, Monika was talking with Senpai about her actions and wrongdoings during her time in the club. As she expressed about a decision by having her erased from the game just to make the other girls feel happiness, she suddenly sees that things were going wrong back in the place she was created. She hesitates on attempting to go back there by programming her glitching out of the game, and successfully, she did. She resets the timeline back to the starting point when both Boyfriend and Girlfriend meets the rest of the club, except Monika herself. Relieved, she offered Boyfriend another song once more for a reconciliation. Later, the two finally met MC, who thought he might have missed them when he got into the club. The school had a plan to host a festival. They gave MC a backlog of songs to choose from for the event. Later at the festival, all the members of the club, except MC, started to sing their favorite songs by using the CD's to sing with Boyfriend. After the events of the festival week, Monika talks to Boyfriend if that he can visit another time in some kind of way. Interlude: Our Harmony: The Literature Club girls giving out laughter and cheer after concluded their song. Few days after the Festival week, Monika, now standing alone inside in the school's music room, reflects on everything that has happened so far. Natsuki arrives in an uneasy feeling and confesses to Monika regarding of being overshadowed by everyone now that the club has grown more than usual. Shortly after, they decided to start singing. Natsuki and Yuri arrives once more right after the two finished and once more began a new performance with all four girls. Meanwhile back on the clubroom, MC asks Boyfriend and Girlfriend about impressing the girls by singing without feeling embarrassed. Giving up from refraining himself from singing, he decides to give it a shot. The girls sneaked into the room without him noticing. They congratulate him for taking the bullet, much to his embarrassment. Epilogue: You and Me: Few days passed since Boyfriend and Girlfriend's departure from the club, it has returned to the original 5 members. The days then continued as normal, and everything very thing went smoothly, especially MC. A new flower of friendship has bloomed ever since, even if they're outside the clubroom. As their days of normalcy began, suddenly, two familiar faces arrived in front of a white light, offering them to follow. One by one, they arrived in a nightlife landscape. With the moon shining over the skies, Monika realized that they have finally out of the game, with Boyfriend telling her that the computer is the gateway between the worlds. Overwhelmed with emotions, Monika hugged Boyfriend and Girlfriend while bursting into tears of joy, thanking them for giving out an opportunity to explore a new world. She finally got a chance to find a special someone she has been looking for and learn to love in 'your reality'. Side-Stories: Love n' Funkin: Despite the club going back to their usual ways, Boyfriend and Girlfriend visits them every now and then. However, on that time, neither Boyfriend and MC made into the club's meeting, leaving the four girls and Girlfriend. They questioned Girlfriend if she was the quiet type, since Boyfriend did all the vocal representation. Monika asks her if she would like to write a love song for Boyfriend, which she accepts. As she finishes writing her lyrics, she gave it to the girls, which in turn, their expressions turned shock and confusion due to the 'explicit' contents of her writing. There is a alternate mix for this in which Pico replaces Girlfriend and is the main playable cover of this song. Catfight: On a normal day in the club, Natsuki demonstrates her fast singing skills to Yuri. Yuri was impressed with her lyrical feats, with Natsuki trying to compliment her having an actual good vocal chords for singing. Natsuki complained that Yuri tried to make her vocals sounded perfect, while the latter stated that Natsuki got confidence to attempt faster vocalization. Both Yuri and Natsuki eventually started a 'catfight'. Whilst the two girls rambling at each other, Sayori attempted to barge in, but immediately got shot down by both of the girls. Eventually Yuri and Natsuki got tired over a fight, Sayori asks for some hospitality with tea and cookies. They both accepted the offer. Constricted: Monika welcomes the three girls back and asks them what they experienced after returning from Boyfriend and Girlfriend's hometown. Natsuki had a screaming competition with a certain rock star and won, with the latter asking for a rematch next week. Yuri, on the other hand, had extra cash on hand and went on a dinner on a nice restaurant. She met a certain figure who shares her similar interests, with them being intrigued over their two new club members. After having a brief inner thought about finding her true love, she asks Sayori if she met any new friends. Sayori was excited that she founded a new friend that was following her around. She asks if she can greet her new friend to the club, which Monika accepts. Sayori welcomes a new friend to the club. Natsuki, on a panic attack, screams and tells her to put it back where it came from. Wilted: Senpai, now feeling emptied after Monika's departure but never forgotten their encounter, discovers that his world is just like her's, being nothing but lines of code. He decided to dig deeper into the game and encountered Spirit for the first time. Sharing the same hatred for the Dearest family and their followers, he asks that they should work together for revenge. However, still under pressure from their last encounter, Senpai had so many thoughts and attempts to reconcile with Monika once more, to which he succeeded. Monika was surprised to see him. Senpai thanked her for realizing that they weren't so different after all, to which Monika started feeling worried that he might go down the same path as she did. He offered a hand to join him on an eternal bliss, but she immediately rejected him, as she has already set her heart on someone else. Furious, he eventually calmed down and asks for another song for the reunion. To no avail, Monika exits the program space. Spirit states that while both of them were busy, he had discovered that they have a gateway back to their original world. He states that he will possess Boyfriend and leave the game the next time they come back to the digital world. ???: On a stormy night, a computer sitting in a dark room booted up. A zipped file named "PROJECT_LIBITINA" is extracted from a notebook of the Metaverse Enterprise Solutions, decoding binary codes and attempting to access something unknown. A white-haired woman with a third eye is presumably trying to escape the notebook. Eventually, the woman managed to flee and walks in a street, followed by some people. She was last seen opening her third eye. Libitina finally got what she always wanted: her freedom, now she lives on the streets and still often inside the files, of the same PC/notebook where Doki Doki Literature Club.exe is.

Project Libitina* Project Libitina is the name of what is presumed to be an upcoming game by Team Salvato, though no confirmation of this has been made. Many have interpreted the "2018" at the end of the text encoded in monika.chr to mean that more information about the game will be revealed in 2018. The only direct reference to Project Libitina itself is the QR code hidden in sayori.chr, which leads to http://projectlibitina.com/. This website was initially unresponsive at the time of the game's release but was shortly put online with what appeared to be a short test log. The test log, dated 5 January 2004, concerns a female named Libitina born on 5 January 2001, with the individual's surname redacted. The names "Sayori", "Monika", "Elyssa", "Renier" and "George" could fit in the surname's place. However, both of the instances of redacted information contain six characters, which could potentially indicate that it's a generic redaction not specifically tied to the number of characters. It includes several unusual testing variables, including pain tolerance and threat response/elimination tests. Most notably, several entries are present for a "third eye" which suggest a supernatural force that's very powerful but difficult to control. The website itself contains no files other than the default index.html page, which is what a user is shown when visiting the website. Though there is no mention of Project Libitina in-game, references to a "third eye" are present in several hidden messages in the game, as well as the text in monika.chr. Most of these messages indicate that the third eye has some kind of attractive power which draws people to it. Libitina is the name of an ancient Roman goddess of funeral and death; and is also presumably responsible for Operation Health. In a ancient scripture she was rumored to have stated "Operation Health is basically a 3 month period of time that we're gonna be taking in order to fix and repair the game." It is unknown whether or not this has to do with the popular first-person shooter title "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege." Satchely, who provided the character art for DDLC, posted a new Deviantion called Fear on January 16th, 2018. They directly reference Libitina in the posting saying, "... Also, this has nothing to do with Libitina." Despite this claim the subject in the image bears a striking resemblance to Yuri as though she were a patient of some sort. There are also leading background tendrils in the image similar to the ones featured in the four images sold on the second page of the DDLC Store.
