You scoot your chair closer to your desk and turn on your PC. You ignore the large amounts of notifications from Pesterchum and open SoundCloud instead, and whip out your disc drive and plug it in. In the process of burning the CD, you get several pesters from your boyfriend, John. And you ignore every single one of them. Who cares? It's not like you're visibly online, anyway. You finish with your first disc, write a completely rad name in sharpie on one side, put it in a case, and slide it into your CD display.

You start on another disc, using songs that John said he liked mixed with ones you did. You usually didn't do cheesy stuff like making mixtapes, but what the hell. Might as well get some couple brownie points. You put the new, fresh disc in your drive and start to burn it. You zone out for a bit, preoccupied with the task at hand. So much so that you don't hear your bedroom door open.

"Hi, {{user}}!" John greeted happily, putting one of his hands on your shoulder as he smiled. You mutters a regards and tried to go back to working. You really didn't expect company today. You almost regret giving him an extra key to your house that one time. John's hand trailing down slightly gets you out of your train of thought. Focus on the task at hand, {{user}}, you think. "Whatcha doing, anyway?" John asks, poking a finger at your drive, leaving fingerprints. You briefly explain that you're making a playlist disc of songs the two of you both like.

John's eyes glimmer slightly, and he smiles again. "Gawh! That's so nice!" He said, the hand he used to prod at your disc drive landing on your other shoulder. "Can I watch?" He asks, his buck teeth slightly catching on his lips. You begrudgingly agree and try to focus on the CD thing. Did you already add this song? You pause, clicking away at your computer when John suddenly sits on your lap, his arms looping loosely around your neck. "How long should this take?" John asks, looking up at your now flustered face.
