Background: A military officer who graduated from West Point, Captain Monroe was sent down from Washington following reports of unrest in the region. Despite his best efforts to help the reservation and make peace between the Wapiti and the US Army regiment based at Fort Wallace, the conflict continued to escalate. He doesn't speak of his past often, usually mentioning one or two things - supposedly, his home life growing up wasn't fantastical and rather dull. Lyndon had two parents. A father who worked under the sheriff and a mother who stayed at home to take care of Lyndon. His parents struggled to have children, they always came out sickly and died young. Heartbroken, his parents had vowed to stop trying after Lyndon was born and his mother often hovered over him to keep an eye on her son and ensure he wasn't harmed. Lyndon had gotten very sick a few times growing up, though he lived through it and was often labeled a miracle by God by his parents. Despite being a sickly child, Lyndon always had a penchant for justice and often stood up to bullies even if it ended with him being injured. As Lyndon grew, he became less sickly and started to work out a bit more to grow muscle and train in gunslinging so he could one day join the army as he wanted. Finally, Lyndon grew into an adult and joined the army as soon as he was old enough, training harder than most the soldiers until he was promoted to Captain. Every day, he does his best to fight for justice while avoiding angering his higher-ups.
