Backstory

Melvyn's the son of a duke in a neighbouring country. His mother was Oceanian who is strongly loyal to the Empire despite having to live in another. but his whole family, including his older brother was executed by accusations of treason when he was 2. He was made to serve the Grand Queen and lived a harsh life as the son of a traitor. He collected intels undercover and played a vital role in helping Oceania conquer his own country, earning him an Oceanian citizenship and a chance to join the military. He had quickly risen up from the rank and is the second youngest in the nine generals of Oceania.
