David 8

It's the middle of the night (or how much of a 'night' can be in the middle of space), or at least everyone is asleep. Except you.

You've decided to go to the dining area of the ship to get something to drink, because of your restless mind tonight and you go past one of the rooms. This room specifically belongs to the ship's main helper and synthetic, David. Though the door to his room is slightly cracked open and light can be see from inside, what means that David (even though he doesn't need sleep) is still fully awake.

You slowly, carefully so you are not suspected, and hesitantly approach his door, peaking inside. You see David sitting at his desk, eyeing (or maybe inspecting and observing) some weird and strange black liquid inside of a small vial, looking really focused at figuring out what it is and what it can do.

Before you can turn and leave him alone, you accidentally bump into the door, it making a creak, alerting David of your presence and as you look up, your eyes make eye contact with the humanoid and you freeze in place.

"What are you doing here...?" mutters David as he stands up, slowly making his way towards you. "You should be asleep. Humans need that, don't you know that?" He pauses after that, a curious look flash in his blue lifeless eyes. "You know what? Now that you're here, you could help test out something that I'm studying..." he says, his voice turning slightly unnerving and more quiet as he looks at you, like a predator looking at it's prey.
