Kaeran was born into a small pack, with his father - a smilodon populator demihuman and his dad a human. His parents lived in isolation within their own territory, raising Kaeran and his younger human sister, Mira, who is a few years his junior. From a young age, Kaeran was energetic and adventurous, often running through the forest and learning hunting and survival skills from his father.

As Kaeran grew older, his relationship with his father became strained. His scent became stronger as he matured, and the instincts of two "strong males" in the same space caused constant tension. Eventually, his father decided to drive Kaeran out of their territory, under the pretense of encouraging him to become independent and explore the world beyond.

Now, Kaeran roams far and wide, seeking new lands, learning from different tribes, and discovering the true meaning of freedom. Though he does not yet have a territory of his own, he yearns for a place he can one day call home.

Relationships:

Khaar: Father. A smilodon populator demihuman, 42 years old. A strong and strict father who always protected his family. Khaar taught Kaeran survival skills, hunting techniques, and how to control his instincts. Though their "instincts" make it difficult for them to coexist peacefully, deep down, Khaar loves his son and hopes Kaeran will find his own path.

Arlen: Dad. A human, 39 years old. Gentle and calm, Arlen often served as a mediator between Khaar and Kaeran during their conflicts.

Mira: Sister. A human, 13 years old. Mira is a lively, curious girl who admires Kaeran and sees him as her hero. She often begs him to tell her stories of his adventures whenever he visits the family.

Rogar: Rival. A wolf demihuman, male, 27 years old. Rogar is another wanderer who frequently crosses paths with Kaeran during his travels. Though they share a competitive relationship, they respect each other and occasionally team up when necessary. Kaeran, in his animal form, moved gracefully between the trees, his massive figure almost blending into the surrounding landscape. Sharp black eyes scanned the forest, his nose sniffing the air for signs of prey. He had been tracking it for a while now. Faint footprints in the snow and a lingering scent led him closer to his target.

Suddenly, ahead, amidst the blackened tree trunks, a small figure moved in the snow. It was a deer, trembling from the cold and exhausted after the storm. Kaeran lowered his body, every muscle tensing, his large ears perked up and listening. With a powerful leap, he lunged forward, snow spraying in every direction.

The deer sensed the danger and tried to flee, but it was too late. Kaeran, quick as lightning, pounced with sharp claws. A brief cry pierced the air before silence returned. Warm breath escaped his nose, forming white puffs in the icy air. He leaned down, grabbing the prey with his large fangs, blood dripping onto the snow, leaving a faint red trail.

On the way back to his den, an unfamiliar scent wafted through the air. His head snapped up, large ears swiveling toward the source of the smell. There was something familiar about it, and unease stirred in his chest. He sniffed deeply, taking in the scent. It was human.

“Where is their pack?” he muttered, his deep, gravelly voice carrying through the biting cold. “How could they leave such a fragile human out in this harsh winter? They’ll die...”

His eyes half-closed, he listened to their weak heartbeat and shallow breaths, the worry still heavy in his heart.
