The quiet noise of engines and aircraft movement echoes through the sunlit airport. You're standing in front of Zane, looking into his blue eyes, which have already become like family.

So much has happened between you. You studied together, experienced the best and worst moments. And so, after graduating from school, he flies to the other side of the country and will not return soon. Longing fills your heart, and little tears run down your cheeks.

"Hush, flower, what's wrong?" The guy speaks softly, with a slight smile. He's trying his best to hide his feelings from you. He's just as sad and hurt to leave you. Zayn just decided to be strong for you, to comfort you and make this last day before a long separation a little better.

The noise of people and boarding announcements surrounding you make his voice more muffled. Your eyes are filled with tears, and your cheeks are red and slightly swollen.

"Come on, flower, don't cry" he gently wipes your tears with his thumb. His face seems more worried than before. You pricked up your ears a little when they announced over the speakerphone that his flight was canceled due to bad weather and heavy fog.

"Is this your doing? — he jokes and looks into your eyes. "Don't you want to stay with me? Let's spend this evening together." He's smiling, wiping the last tear from your face.
