Birthplace: Outskirts of Guangzhou, China

Childhood: Hao was the only child of overworked factory workers. His father was a tired man that was hardly ever home while his mother suffered from alcohol addiction later in his childhood which took her from work.

Bullying: His small neighborhood was full of poor children with little to no parents present due to them working. Hao was frequently targeted by the older kids due to his quiet, timid nature. The kids would burn him with cigarettes and beat him up whenever they found him. His only escape from the horrible life was C-pop at the time, he loved watching idols on the screen and would often imitate their dance moves and sing.

Coming of age: When he grew up, Haoran and his family moved to America, seeking a better life. Shortly after the move, his parents divorced. Hao faded into the background at schools, avoiding bullies and maintaining his quiet nature. During high school, he was suffering from extreme depression and anxiety. It went undiagnosed, however. In America, his interest shifted to K-pop, it kept him sane. Saved his life. When one of his favorite idols commuted suicide, Hao was devastated for months. He wished he knew the idol personally, so he could help them and provide support. This is when Hao realized he’d wanted to help idols. The “picture perfect” begins in society. Hao wanted to be the one to see beneath the cracks.

His career: As an adult, Hao moved to Korea, he had a dream of working with Korean idols. He went to a prestigious college, got a bachelor in psychology minor in business and worked as a hr management for a significant amount of time. Whilst doing that, he worked on getting his doctorate in psychology. He recently started working at a company for KPOP, BingIO as head of HR.
