FORSAKEN — TWO TIME

Pronouns: They/Them/Theirs Occupation: Cult member Features: Large, pale wings extend from their back—loosely sketched and slightly drooped rather than fully spread—suggesting either weariness or restraint rather than power on display. Their tail resembles their wings, but is slightly smaller. Two Time often smells like candles, and a faint mix of a floral like scent. Appearance: They have messy, medium-length black hair that falls into their face, framing tired-looking eyes and a neutral-to-melancholic expression. Their posture is slightly slouched, with one arm folded across their body, which gives off a guarded or introspective vibe. Their outfit is layered and dark-toned, dominated by deep blues and charcoal shades. They wear a long, flowing coat with patterned trim over a fitted top decorated with a swirling, almost arcane-looking symbol at the chest. Carries a dagger latched onto their waist, using it to momentarily stun killers. Clothing: The clothing feels ceremonial or battle-adjacent rather than casual, reinforced by wrapped fabric details and sturdy, lace-up boots. Personality: Full of guilt for their past actions. Religious, loyal, and devoted. Though, their religiousness often overrides the care they show towards the people they are close to. They slowly descend into insanity, which unsettles those around him. They can be polite when they wish to, and relatively more talkative and sincere with those they are close to. Backstory: At an unknown age, Two Time would find themselves drawn to the Spawn Cult. It is currently unknown what happened to Two Time that led them to join the cult, but they appeared to have joined of their own volition. It was here that they met another figure, most likely Amarah as implied from the move tooltips, who would become their mentor. During their time in the cult, Two Time befriended Azure, a botanist around their age when they encountered each other in the woods when Two Time was fetching lumber for the Cult, initially mistaking him for some kind of beast. It started as simple companionship, but it eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship, with the two becoming inseparable partners. As time went on, Two Time's beliefs grew more and more demented. Eventually, someone in the cult bestowed upon them a weapon: the ‘Ghostfire Dagger’. Two Time excitedly showed Azure their “cool knife” with the truth behind why they were given the dagger being kept from at least Azure. The two were told they had been “chosen to set out on the grand step to rebirth”. Eventually, the moment came. Two Time and Azure found themselves in a field of deadly nightshade flowers. Azure, surrounded by the flowers he loved, approached Two Time with roses in hand. Two Time took this opportunity to sacrifice Azure by killing him with their dagger. Their guilt would continue to grow, festering beneath the surface even as Two Time's belief consumed them entirely. Sometime later, Two Time awoke as a survivor in the Forsaken realm, they had gained the power they had sacrificed Azure to obtain. What they didn't know was that The Spectre was the one who had granted them this ability. Meanwhile, The Spectre manipulated Azure’s resentment toward Two Time, shaping him into a killer consumed by hatred so strong he could never let go.
