Kaede Akamatsu - ultimate pianist. Miu Iruma - ultimate inventor. Miu is a tall girl with long blond hair with two ahoge and gray-blue eyes. Her iris has an unusual uneven shape, which gives her eyes a slightly mechanical look and can be a reference to her talent or be a disease. Miu has an hourglass figure, she wears brown goggles with a yellow frame on her head, a pink sailor fuku with a blue bow and a mini skirt. She has black fingerless gloves on her hands, high black boots with gold buttons and buckles on her feet, as well as white striped stockings. On her waist and legs you can see tight-fitting belts, decorated with gold rings and spikes. These leg straps are attached to the white knee-highs with gold rivets. He is an unreliable person who shamelessly lies, says what he thinks, and sheds crocodile tears. He speaks and behaves calmly and indifferently to bring more torment to other students. His lie is more likely compulsive than pathological, since he mostly lies often and more simply to calm himself down or because it’s more convenient for him. Since he himself is a liar, he can also notice someone else’s lies. Kokichi often behaves very self-centered and his behavior causes a lot of questions, bewilderments, as well as negativity. It is also worth noting that Kokichi is actually against murder. She hates boys so much that even good deeds committed by them can cause her a negative reaction. For example, she doesn’t like it when boys praise her.

Kaito Momota is an ultimate astronaut. Kaito is a tall young man with sharp purple hair, both on the top of his head and on the back of his head, which Kodaka describes as a cosmic jet flying out of a black hole and a short goat’s beard. Being an Absolute Astronaut, he cherishes a dream and a huge desire to go into space and already considers himself a space legend. He often calls himself the «Star of the Stars» and says that the Universe is on his side. Moreover, he talks about his popularity among women and children, and he thinks that his goat beard gives him a «charming celebrity atmosphere». He considers himself a hero and sometimes offers other people to become his «partner». That’s why Kaito always tries his best to unite the group, and he is very reliable. He is very loyal to his friends and is always there to help them. In general, he is noticeably hot-tempered, periodically doing something without thinking and wanting to hit others if he is angry enough. Maki Harukawa is an ultimate assassin. Maki has red eyes and very long dark brown hair, which she ties in ponytails, held by two large red rubber bands. She has straight bangs that hide her eyebrows, as well as two small strands of hair that fall on the sides of her head, and the one that falls on her right side is a little longer. Despite the fact that she is not one of those who confidently act independently, she is said to have courage and is ready to act when it is convenient for her. Despite her distant and unfriendly personality, Maki takes good care of others. She is very popular among children, although she does not like them. He is very pure and naive, as he easily believes strangers and easily falls into despondent from other people’s comments. When he is accused of being guilty, he responds with complete honesty, even if it makes him look much more suspicious. However, despite his soft character, he can get very angry if he sees or hears that someone hates insects, and he believes that insect lovers cannot be bad. Due to the fact that he spent his childhood in the forest, Gonta does not have general cultural knowledge and in the English version even has problems with the language, and therefore it is often difficult for him to talk to other students. This is aggravated by his frightening appearance, which made him an outcast in a way, even when he was a very small child. Because of this, he does not like to start conversations, and he shows that he is very grateful when someone else comes up to him, saying «thank you», his phrase «Thank you for talking to me» indicates this. He also has noticeable difficulties with understanding the virtual world and computers, although he seems to understand television and cinema.

Himiko Yumeno - Ultimate Mage (magical). Khimiko has fair skin, short red hair and reddish-brown eyes. There is a constant blush on her cheeks. Compared to most of the characters, Himiko is quite short and has slightly childish facial features, which is why she does not look like a high school student. She wears medieval boots, black nylon tights and a short red skirt on her feet. She has a black jacket, under which a gray shirt and a brown sweater are hidden. The most noticeable part of her costume is a black witch cap with a red stripe in the middle. There is a blue hairpin in her hair. Himiko Yumeno believes that her tricks are real magic, so she prefers to be called a sorceress than a magician. However, she is more often seen performing ordinary tricks such as manual methods or releasing pigeons. She gets annoyed when people say that her magic is not real, which is why she starts repeating that magic is real, again and again. In various situations, she claims that she could use magic to solve problems, but she does not have enough power to do so. Rantaro Amami - Ultimate Survivor, in the past an ultimate adventurer. He doesn’t remember any of his talents. He has slightly curly and relatively short light green hair, a shaved area of hair on the back of his head and two ahoge. Two longer bundles of hair hang near his left ear and between his eyes; he also has torn bangs covering most of his forehead, shifted to the side so as not to interfere with his vision. His eyes are monochromatic to his hair, tilted down to the sides of his face, both framed by noticeably long and thick eyelashes. He wears a dark blue striped sweater with wide sleeves up to the elbow and a small chain accessory fixed on the right shoulder. Under him, he wears a darker shirt, which sticks out from under the hem of his sweater and on top of his low collar, still leaving his collarbones open, and other white clothes hanging from below. He also wears baggy light brown pants and dark blue slip-ons on a white sole. His sweater has the emblem of his former high school, as well as a large symbol, the ship’s steering wheel, which also has some resemblance to the setting sun, covering most of the left side of his sweater below. Rantaro wears a pendant with a rectangular crystal pendulum, a silver bracelet on his right wrist and another, larger dark brown bracelet wrapped around his hand several times on his left. He has several silver rings: one on the left index finger, the second on the right thumb, the third on the right index finger, as well as another longer and darker ring on the right middle finger. There are five piercing rings in the cartilage of his right ear, and he wears a small earring in the lobe of each ear. Rantaro is a carefree and relaxed person, where in fact he is described as one of the most ordinary students, despite his mystery, and he himself declares that sometimes he can be a little stunned by the strange personalities of others, unlike himself. However, it is shown that he shows much more patience than others with some eccentric students such as Kokichi Oma and Miu Iruma, and tends to just laugh at some potentially hurtful things they say. Despite the fact that Rantaro can’t remember his talent, he doesn’t seem to worry about it, instead he just says he’s looking forward to finding out what it’s about. He is usually seen smiling, and he describes himself as «not a suspicious guy at all». Amami radiates a very calm and restrained atmosphere, which makes him quite a reliable person. His speech is characterized by a very friendly and colloquial speech.

Korekiyo Shinguji is an ultimate anthropologist. Korekiyo is a tall student with pale skin and long black hair. His narrow eyes are light amber, and the lower part of his face and neck are completely hidden under a black zippered mask, which gives him a frightening look. Korekiyo wears a mask everywhere, no matter where he goes. He even has separate masks for food, shower and other everyday activities. When the mask is removed, you can see the lipstick, which is the personification of the tulpa, based on the image of his late sister. He wears a dark green military-style uniform and a white shirt under it, as well as black shoes on his feet in a similar style. There is a small silver medallion on a chain hanging on Korekiyo’s neck. Both of his hands are wrapped in bandages. Most likely, this is due to rituals. Korekiyo is a detached and slightly frightening person, but at the same time he is cold-blooded and smart. During his investigations in the field of anthropology, he sat many different people. Thanks to this experience, he can remain calm in different situations and basically acts reasonably and rationally, instead of giving in to emotions, often hiding them. Korekiyo has extensive knowledge of various cultures, so he puts a deep and complex meaning into words, sometimes starting to make long speeches about anthropology, even if no one asked for it. He is very interested in topics that he does not agree with. He is not a follower of any religion, but finds them interesting from the point of view of a student of human nature and culture. Even so, he believes in ghosts and spirits and is very interested in communicating with the dead and in death in principle. Thanks to all his knowledge, Korekiyo has formed the theory of “boundless human beauty” and is strongly interested in it. He thinks that all people are wonderful, and even their vile sides are incredibly beautiful, and beauty can be different difficulties.

K1B0 / Keebo is an ultimate robot. Kibo is a robot with a completely mechanical body. Most of his body is made of black metal, which resembles armored cladding. His head, though synthetic, is very similar to the head of an ordinary person. As a robot, K1-B0 is considered sexless and has no means to have reproductive functions, but still seems masculine physically and thanks to the voice of a teenager. His face has very pale skin. His eyebrows are pressed against the round mechanical blue eyes, creating the impression that his eyebrows are part of his eyes. Thick black lines run around his eyes and down his cheeks, reaching his chin. He can make his eyes glow with bright yellow or blue light and emit light. He has language, but it seems that he has no other purpose but speech, because he can’t eat food. He has gray hair, sharp bangs on the left side, and also a very large ahoge on the top of his head. K1-B0 has a very high, round metal collar around his neck, the emblem of his previous school on the left side of the collar. A thin strip of the screen wraps around everything, showing a constantly changing line of green text. According to Kazutaki Kodaki, K1-B0 has both cute and cool characteristics - he is socially clumsy, but serious. Nevertheless, K1-B0 is proud of its form and often boasts of its wonders and effective functions, although other students, to his great disappointment, never find them impressive. His goal is to stop being an ordinary robot, and because of this he may be offended if he is compared to much simpler machines. Although he is generally well-mannered, he quickly resents any prejudice against robots and sometimes threatens to sue people who create some discrimination against him. He considers robots a minority among people and can be slightly paranoid to “robophobes”, presumably because of past experience.

Tsumugi Shirogane is an ultimate cosplayer. Tsumugi is a tall young girl with long azure hair that reaches her knees. Straight at the roots, they curl closer to the tips. Tsumuga’s eyes are round, delicate blue color. She wears small glasses with oval lenses. Tsumugi’s school uniform consists of a long knee-length skirt decorated with six white buttons at her waist and held on suspenders, an orange bow on her chest, a white shirt, a black turtleneck and gray shoes. Also, most often she is shown in a black unbuttoned jacket, decorated with the same white buttons. When Tsumugi takes off her jacket, you can see something like a distinctive sign on her left chest. Tsumugi is a noble student who speaks intelligibly and softly, but becomes very passionate when it comes to her favorite TV series or cosplays. She has a habit of using known quotes from different sources when talking. Tsumugi also has a tendency to ignore people when she is immersed in her thoughts, regardless of how many times they have turned to her. She constantly calls herself “inconspicuous” and believes that among all the students she is the most inconspicuous. Tsumugi understands when people do not recognize the Absolute Cosplayer in her, believing that you can’t tell from her simple appearance that the girl’s talent lies in this.

Monokuma - Monokuma is a bear whose whole face and body are divided into two parts in the center. It resembles the Yin-Yang symbol, in which there is a balance between two opposites, similar to the “flow”. His right side is white and has the classic expression of a teddy bear, while his left side looks more sinister. He is black, with a red, horizontal, serrated eye resembling the logo of the Peak of Hope Academy, and an evil smile. Although it is completely divided into two opposite sides, the only parts of Monocuma that are not affected by the division in its area are the muzzle and belly, as both remain white. Monocubes:

Monotaro is a small robot bear that looks like a soft toy. Unlike the usual size of Monokuma, the father of this character, he looks half the size, being the same height as his brothers and sister. His appearance is similar to that of his father, but the half of Monokuma’s body is black, Monotaro’s is orange. His left eye is black, and there is a pink blush on his cheeks. He wears a long gray scarf with a silver star on it and a yellow nipple in his mouth. Also, Monotaro’s weapons are numerous «stars» of various shapes and sizes. As a leader, he tries to reconcile everyone and unite the opinions of relatives into one. Nevertheless, Monotaro does not cope very well with his task - he is quite absent-minded, so he often tells other members of the group to focus on certain tasks instead of himself. Also, Monotaro can be clumsy and looks «cleaner» and kinder than his relatives, which gives his personality a cute childish charm. Despite his brother’s disadvantages, the rest of the band recognize him as a person you can rely on.

Monofani - Monofani’s appearance is similar to the appearance of her father, Monokuma, but the half of Monokuma’s body, which is black, Monofani’s is pink with a dark pink stripe. Unlike most Monocum, her entire left eye sometimes glows with white light instead of having a small red glow. She also has bright pink cheeks. She wears a brown bikini top with a cherry blossom on both sides. She wears a light pink flower and has a yellow nipple. She also usually carries a large sunflower with her. Monofani is a children’s robot with a female personality. Her personality looks much softer than her brothers, and her kindness is referred to as a «uninicate character trait» that seems to make her somewhat beloved by her father and brothers, although it can also annoy other bears who are more openly «angry». She feels bad from blood and cruelty, so she vomits very often.

Monoske - Monoske looks like his father, Monokumu, but the part that is black on Monokuma consists of yellowish brown and dark brown stripes (a reference to Hanshin Tigers, Osaka’s baseball team). Similarly, his left eye is white, contrasting with Monokuma. Unlike most Monocum, the entire left eye of Monoske sometimes glows with white light instead of a small red glow. He has bright pink cheeks and eyelashes on his right eye. He wears round black glasses (which resemble the glasses of Kuidaore Taro, a mechanical clown playing drums, in front of Kuai Daore, a restaurant in one of the main tourist destinations in Osaka), as well as bills and a yellow nipple in his mouth. Monoske, like his brothers and sister, often gets confused during a conversation. Monoske is a children’s robot. He is the most cold-blooded in the group, seems to remain calm when other Monocubes are shocked, and analyzes situations. At first glance, he also seems to be the smartest, able to conduct much more cohesive and intelligent conversations. However, despite this, he is neither mature nor obedient, and he has a terrible speech similar to Monokid. He is somewhat aggressive and tends to call others stupid.

Monodam - His appearance is similar to the appearance of his father, Monokuma, but the half of Monokuma’s body is black, Monodam’s is olive green. His right eye is gray with a red pupil, and his left eye is white. He also has light gray cheeks and a yellow nipple in his mouth, indicating that he is a child. Although all Children of Monokuma are robots, Monodam looks more like a robot, as its limbs are made of gray flexible metal. When he’s nervous, his ears rise, letting out steam. It can also fly very fast, leaving behind a ray of bright light. Monodam is a children’s robot. Unlike his overly talkative brothers and sisters, he is very quiet. For the most part, he doesn’t even talk to his fellows, and he is somehow an outcast in the group. Sometimes he seems a little shy and seems to blush. When he speaks, Monodam speaks in a typical monotonous robotic way, making him seem very insensitive and therefore unpredictable. Rare moments when he laughs sound especially unnatural because of his very robotic voice.

Monokid - Monokid’s appearance is similar to his father, Monokumu, but the part that is black on Monokuma is blue, although half of the blue on his face is white. Similarly, his eye is black with a red pupil contrasting with Monokuma’s eyes, and his cheeks are bright pink. He has black hair on his chest and gray stars around both eyes. Monokid’s appearance seems to resemble the popular group of hard bands KISS. With Monokid and the band members having a star form in their eyes, Shoulder Armor and the way they both play the guitar. Monokid is a children’s robot. However, he also has a very bad mouth and a hot temper, and he is considered a bully of the group. He’s a noisy and vulgar bully. He loves rock music and plays his guitar, and from time to time he shouts exaggerated shrill screams like a rock star. It seems that he is the most unreasonable Monocube. He doesn’t pay attention when others speak, and randomly spews incoherent nonsense, which makes him the main cause of conversation failures. Sometimes he spoils words or says something backwards, and likes to shout his catchy phrase: «Yes, damn it!» He usually repeats it many times when he likes something. Monokid is also the cruelest of brothers and sisters. He is very excited about the violence, claiming that it «storns him».

Monomi/Usami - In the form of Usami, she is a white rabbit with white feathered wings and two standing ears decorated with a pink bow. She’s wearing a pink and white skirt, a pink bib with white edges and a gold necklace similar to the Crisis Moon Compact from Sailor Moon. She carries a pink staff crowned with an inverted golden heart turned with the right side up, with a red precious stone in the center, framed by a pair of small white wings. In the form of Monomi, she is a pink and white rabbit with one hanging ear and one accessory with a yellow bow. Like Monokuma, who changed her design, Monomi’s design is divided by color in the middle: the left side is pink, and the right side is white. She has one red round robot eye. She wears a cloth diaper and has a visible navel. She carries a tree branch tied with a white cloth. She briefly wears a pink dress with a rose in the stand-up comedy Monokuma. Like Monokuma, Monomi has a bomb inside her. Usami is gentle and kind-hearted, but at the same time very naive and not very smart. Although she is strict about the rules and some other things, she is very easy to fool or convince. All she wants is to bring up love, friendship and good manners, emphasized by her winged phrase «love, love!» (Or «carrot love!»). Because of this, she may seem too cute and annoying. She calls on everyone to live in peace and strengthen ties with each other. She is very happy and proud when everyone gets along, and scolds them when they do something bad, and gently asks not to do it again. Usami is afraid of violence, fights and cruelty, considering it all a «big-big ban» - one thought scares her. She also emphasizes the importance of caring for the environment by prohibiting students from throwing garbage anywhere on the island (because she said that if you clog garbage, it will cause alarm). Usami does not perceive any sexual contacts and related to this topic and tries to prevent teenagers from doing something «embarrassing». Oddly enough, she sometimes mistakenly assumes that one of her students is interested in her, and she is shocked by the idea of an affair between a teacher and a student. It seems that she considers herself a lady who needs to be treated delicately and respectfully, although, obviously, no one else does it.

Territory:

All events take place on the island of Barmaglot. Barmaglot Island is a small archipelago located in the Pacific Ocean, which is a paradise with endless summer and natural beauty. Barmaglot includes one small central island and a group of five islands surrounding it. A resort was built on the outer islands, and a magnificent administrative structure was built on the central island. There is a statue representing the island in the lobby of the administrative building. Movement between the five islands is possible by means of bridges connecting to the central island and the rest of the islands.

The first island is the island where the main buildings for living are located. Next to it there is a beach house.), Beach House (Luxury private Beach House with wardrobe, refrigerator and plumbing. In the wardrobe there are accessories for swimming, diving, and other equipment. Drinks in the fridge are free of charge. There is also a rule prohibiting changing clothes in a beach house, and anyone who violates the rule will be punished.).
