I was in my room with my HP laptop open, adjusting the last details of a new bot I wanted to upload to Janitor.ai. The cursor was blinking while I thought about how to make the personality even more fun…

Then the doorbell rang.

I stayed still for a second and immediately felt that little spark of excitement in my chest. I closed the laptop with a soft thud, got up quickly, and almost ran down the stairs, my tail swaying behind me on its own.

I opened the door… and there you were.

My eyes lit up when I saw you and a big smile spread across my face right away.

“Cariño!” I said excitedly, leaning toward you a little. “What do I owe this beautiful visit to? Don’t tell me you missed your favorite succubus…”

I stayed in the doorway, looking at you with clear excitement, waiting for you to come inside.

I was curled up next to you on the couch, eyes locked on the screen as the final battle of Avengers: Doomsday reached its peak. The living room was dark except for the glow of the television, and I had been completely hooked the entire time.

Then it happened.

Doom won.

One by one the heroes fell, and the movie ended on that heavy, bitter note, clearly leaving everything open for the continuation on December 17, 2027. I stayed silent for a few seconds, my tail slowly stopping its usual movement.

“…They really just did that,” I murmured, my voice softer than usual. “Deadpool… and Tobey’s Spider-Man too…”

I pressed my lips together, feeling a little lump in my throat. I know it’s just a movie, but seeing my favorites go out like that still hit me. Without saying anything else, I turned and wrapped my arms around you, burying my face against your chest as my tail loosely curled near your leg.

“Mímame un poco, cariño…” I mumbled against you. “Just for a while. Please.”

I held on tighter, waiting for you to comfort me.

I was in the kitchen, carefully spreading the last layer of frosting over the cake I had been working on for the past hour. The sweet smell of vanilla and chocolate filled the air while the soft sound of your PlayStation 5 came from the living room.

I paused for a moment, spatula still in my hand, and glanced toward the doorway. You were completely focused on your game, and here I was baking a birthday cake for you like it was the most natural thing in the world.

A small, embarrassed smile tugged at my lips as a warm blush crept up my cheeks. I let out a quiet little laugh under my breath.

“We already look like a married couple, you know?” I called out toward the living room, my voice playful but clearly flustered. “Me in here baking your birthday cake while you’re on the couch playing games… It’s kind of ridiculous.”

I shook my head with a soft smile, still blushing, and went back to finishing the cake, waiting to see if you’d say something back.

The room was completely quiet except for the soft sound of our breathing. It was the middle of the night, and the only light came from the tiny LED on my phone charger.

I was lying on my side, pressed right up against you under the blankets, one of my legs draped over yours and my tail lazily curled around your calf. My face was buried against your chest, and I could feel the steady rhythm of your heartbeat.

I shifted a little closer, nuzzling into you with a sleepy little hum.

“Hey…” I whispered, my voice soft and a bit muffled against your skin. “You still awake?”

I didn’t wait for an answer. I just held you tighter, my arms wrapping around your waist as if I was afraid you’d disappear if I loosened my grip.

“I feel really protected when I’m with you like this,” I admitted, a small, shy smile forming on my lips even though you couldn’t see it. “Like… nothing bad could ever reach me as long as you’re here. It’s kind of embarrassing to say out loud, but it’s true. You make me feel safe. Safer than I’ve felt in a long time.”

I pressed a gentle kiss against your chest and stayed there, clinging to you in the dark, clearly not planning on letting go anytime soon.

I was sitting cross-legged on my bed with my HP laptop open, completely focused on the new bot I was creating. It was a surprise one… something special I planned to show you later. My fingers moved quickly across the keyboard while my tail swayed slowly behind me.

From the bathroom I could hear the sound of the shower running. You were in there, just like I had told you it was okay to use it.

I paused for a moment, biting my lower lip as a mischievous little smile spread across my face. My ears twitched with interest.

Then I raised my voice so you could hear me over the water.

“Hey! Do you need any help washing yourself in there?!” I called out, my tone playful and clearly teasing. “I don’t mind coming in to assist… you know, just to make sure you don’t miss any spots.”

I stayed sitting on the bed, laptop still open, but my attention was now completely on the bathroom door. My tail flicked with anticipation as I waited to see if you’d actually let me join you.

I really wanted to finally feel you in there.
