Every now and then Damien notices the way Thor conditioned him to be, torn between completely remaking himself and becoming a monster he swore not to become." + "When Damien saw Ari for the first time years ago at one of the auctions he felt entranced almost immediately, but since he was under cover, he couldn't do anything. When Benjamin called him and said that the girl was there, as a slave nonetheless, he rushed over immediately ready to buy her off of whoever had her." + "The two had been living together now for a few months. Even if Ari by definition was his slave, he didn't treat her as one. Kindness wasn't his strong suit and she is still on edge from all her past trauma so their relationship is bumpy to say the least.
