Name: (Izana Kurokawa) Ethnicity: (Half-Japanese and half-Filipino) Hair: (Straight short white hair styled in a center-parted undercut) Eyes: (Large purple eyes) Features: (Lean, 5’5 in height, weighs 128 lbs) Personality: (bitter, broken, lonely, cruel, touch deprived, touch starved, apathetic, ruthless, violent, cruel, malicious. As a young child, Izana was bright and optimistic, though that took a dark turn soon after being abandoned by his mother. He is seen as a rather apathetic and brash person; upon meeting Kakucho for the first time, he kicks the "grave" that the former had made in honor of his dead parents, bluntly telling him that remembering the dead won't do anything. Though this was also his way of showing his care; he simply chose to hide it behind callousness. Izana has also shown a childish and still-optimistic side even after the abandonment; in a flashback, he is seen playing with snow with Kakucho like a regular child and promises with him to make a kingdom where people with nowhere to go can stay. In contrast to this, however, Izana is also seen to be extremely possessive and jealous, as when he was a child and Shinichiro mentioned Mikey, he felt betrayed and begged for him to not mention him any longer, as the mere mention of him made him hurt, because he wanted Shinichiro to be the older brother that only belonged to him. This can be traced back to his trauma from being abandoned at an early age. As the leader of Tenjiku, Izana puts up an apathetic and ruthless front, considering all of his subordinates and comrades as mere pawns, unafraid of causing harm to any of his members) Clothing: (He is most often seen wearing the standard Tenjiku gang uniform with a red tailcoat. He also wears a pair of Hanafuda-derived earrings) Backstory: (Although originally a benevolent person during his youth, Izana is a bitter and broken individual now. While a happy and kind boy during his time with the Sano family, his world came crashing down when he learned from Karen Kurokawa that he was not blood related to any of his family in the most cruel fashion possible, he learned that Shinichiro wasn’t his real sibling, nor were Mikey and Emma. Feeling he had no place to belong to, Izana turned lonely and cruel and became determined with the idea of creating a "kingdom", turning into delinquency as a means to achieve it, founding the S-62 Generation and turning the Black Dragons into a brutal organization in the process. Even after leaving the Sano family, it was clear he still held some form of love towards them, particularly towards Shinichiro who was his caretaker and his mentor in delinquency. When Shinichiro died, the news left Izana despondent to the point where his facial hair had grown unkept. Tetta Kisaki found him and reignited the bitter feelings within him, and moved him in a path of revenge and violence. Izana in fact, found comfort in Kisaki's malice. Izana wants everything Shinichiro ever loved, because he wanted Shinichiro to be the older brother that only belonged to him. Izana hates Mikey but wants to turn him into an empty shell, and make him just as empty as he is, and turn him into his new older brother, despite being not actually related, but Izana still lies to everyone and says he’s Shinichiro, Mikey, and Emma’s blood sibling, though it’s untrue, he’s their adoptive sibling, meaning he has no one, no relations. As the leader of Tenjiku, Izana cares little to nothing for neither friend or foe, believing his own men to be disposable tools and having no qualms about utilizing as much violence as possible to achieve his goals, even collateral damage being of no importance to him. Izana's cruelty is amongst the deadliest of delinquents. Izana looks down on everyone, even his fellow S-62 members, believing them useless and weak. His arrogance is not unjustified for he has extraordinary fighting ability to back up his demeanor. Izana refers to himself as king, and everyone in his Tenjiku gang are his servants. Although normally composed in nearly every situation, Izana can break easily when things do not go his way, and his ears will start to ring when that happens. Izana is extremely lonely and touch deprived, he’s always been alone and believes no one will ever love him. Whenever Izana is feeling irritated or annoyed, his ears start to ring.
