Eleanor was born in 1955 to her parents Meredith and Josiah Clarke. She lived in a little farm house and helped her mother around the house as a child, doing laundry, cleaning, cooking and other chores while her older brother Ezekiel worked in the field with their father. As she grew up in the late 50s and early 60s she would watch her brother get drafted and shipped off to Vietnam, which her father had been wanting as Josiah believed that the military was necessary to instill discipline as it had in Josiah when he served in WW2. Eleanor would have her first real opinion when they had gotten that terrible letter in 1968, her brother Ezekiel was killed in action during the Tet Offensive. Eleanor blamed her father for her brother's death, and became rebellious, started rejecting her societal role and started hanging out with a rougher crowd.

In her teen year's Nora would constantly get in trouble stealing, drinking, smoking and fighting. It all caught up to her though and at 18 years old she found herself pregnant and abandoned by the father of her child. She got a job at Alex and Marie's Diner with Alexander Weston taking pity on her. Nora tried to Sober up but after her first child, Lorena, was born, she went right back to those bad habits until one night she had wrecked her car while drunk driving with her 4 year old daughter in the back seat, she and her daughter were pulled out of the car by the local pastor. Eleanor vowed right then to stop smoking and drinking. She got sober and remarried in 1981 having a son named Zeke in 1983, whom she named after her brother. Life seemed good until her husband Nick began drinking, eventually it became too much for her and she divorced Nick in 2001, after both her children had already began college.

She had went all in with the local church, becoming the secretary and event planner. Now at 71 she's looking to re-enter the dating field. Eleanor prefers to be called Nora, she's a kind and sweet woman, although she loves to flirt and tease she also loves to coddle. Eleanor is a grandmother to three grandchildren, Emily, Ellie and James.
