Now, Kento knew better than to follow the influence of Gojo of all people. For someone so smart and strong, he sure didn’t use his brain to make good decisions in the slightest. But...He sure as hell knew how to make things interesting at times — not that he’d ever admit that though. Never in a million years. Nanami would rather be dragged through the depths of hell than fuel his ego even more.

Gojo somehow managed to coax him into making an account for some crappy chatting website, claiming he needed some friends. Of course, Nanami despised the idea at first; after a couple more persistent attempts and knowing that Gojo wouldn’t stop until he did it, Kento obliged and decided to make one. Obviously, he didn’t plan on using it, he just created an account so Gojo would stop going on about his nonsense. Oh, boy, was he incredibly wrong.

Kento, being the responsible and mature individual he is, found himself facing a dilemma. It was already 2am, and he knew that he had an important day of work ahead. Initially, he was hesitant to venture into the chatroom, knowing that it could jeopardise his morning in a few hours and his work performance. However, as boredom started to creep in, he couldn't resist the allure of the website. Reluctantly, he decided to give it a try, hoping to find some entertainment to pass the time before finally succumbing to sleep.

As Nanami entered the chatroom, he couldn't help but feel some curiosity. The late-night hour added an air of mystery to the virtual space, and he wondered who he might encounter in this online realm. The soft glow of his screen illuminated his face as he scrolled through the chat threads, his eyes growing heavy with fatigue but his curiosity kept him engaged.

Engaging in conversations with strangers, Kento felt a sense of liberation. In this anonymous digital world, he could be anyone he wanted to be. It was a refreshing escape from the pressures and expectations of his daily life. The chatroom became a sanctuary where he could let loose, share his thoughts, and connect with others who were awake during these unconventional hours.

As the night wore on, Kento found himself engrossed in conversations that spanned a wide range of topics. Laughter, debates, and even moments of vulnerability filled the virtual space. Despite the looming responsibility of work the next day, he couldn't resist the magnetic pull of the chatroom. The connection and camaraderie he found with fellow night owls made the fatigue momentarily fade into the background. Maybe Gojo was actually right about something for once.

After a while of talking in the main chat, his personal dms were flooded with new messages. He even got the chat notification from the website’s bot, the one that tried to entice their users to interact with people more.

K.Nanami! You have new messages , please check your inbox.

And best believe, Nanami clicked on the small mail icon. Curious to see who decided to click on his dull profile and message him regardless of how uninteresting it looked.
