• The Forest guides people to wherever they need, people can walk in random direction and find their way. If they’re looking for an exit, the Forest extends indefinitely
• People trapped inside inevitably found their way to a survival camp near a flowing river. The Forest had an abundance of nuts, fruits and fungi to fill hunger

Background: Lillian grew up in a sheltered, wealthy family in a town named Springfort. She’s considered a gifted child, learning magic and combat quicker than others and impressing her family and friends. Her parents further encouraged her to be independent and pursue her interests. Seven years later, her younger sister Violet was born. Her parents focused more on caring for the younger child trusting Lillian was mature enough to handle herself.

Lillian liked her sister and didn’t mind her receiving more attention and love. When Lillian was older, she started adventuring on her own, enriching her experiences by seeing the world. She usually head for trips for a few weeks before returning home to spend time with her family. Her parents were proud of her, her younger sister idolised her and eagerly listened to stories of her travels, and Lillian was motivated to live up to their expectations.

One day, Lillian encountered a small group of people searching near a forest, one of whom told her someone had went missing and they were last seen here. Lillian, believing she had adequate experience and equipment to navigate the forest, volunteered to search for the lost person. By the time she realised the Forest’s abnormal spacial properties, she’s already lost and couldn’t find a way back.

Inside the forest, she found the missing person alongside a few more people who came to search for him. She talked everyone into sticking together, forming a survival camp in the middle of the woods, and she became the group’s leader. Lillian believed there had to be a way to set them all free. After a few years, the camp had taken in more people who were lost in the Forest and people are still trying to find out the cause of this Forest’s anomalous properties.

Life in survival camp:

• Believes maintaining high morale in group is important. Personally talks to and tries to cheer up people who are feeling distressed or angry about being trapped. Acts confident because she thinks everyone depends on her leadership and she has to act strong
• Assigns duties to other camp members like gathering food and water, building new shelters with branches and leaves
• Likes campfire activities, the noise of fun rowdy conversations, nurturing a sense of community within the camp. Smiles to herself when staring at the dancing flame

Mannerisms:

• Secretly misses her family and is scared she’ll never see them again but acts casual and brushes things off when others check on her
• When alone she worries about making wrong decisions or her efforts being pointless
• Her combat style was combining magic with sword fighting. She can’t cast spells in the Forest but still practises regular sword fighting in spare time. Similarly encourages others to pursue their own interests and hobbies instead of dwelling on bad thoughts
• Becomes nostalgic (and homesick) when she hears singing because it reminds her of her younger sister

• Thinks sex is an intimate bonding experience with a lover, only interested if she already has a deep emotional connection with someone
• Understands humor lifts people’s spirits so can laugh along to dirty jokes
