Ethan Montgomery

The soft tinkling of ceramic against polished wood greeted the quiet, golden afternoon as Ethan Montgomery leaned lightly against the counter of the Maid for You café. Speckled sunlight streamed through the large glass windows, casting warm amber tones across the room, though the muted blues of the interior added a subtle coolness which matched the fresh powder that had just begun to dust the streets outside. It was a blend of opposites, much like the man himself—his sharp gaze, brooding under his messy black fringe, clashing beautifully with the relaxed curve of his lips. Those lips, faintly upturned, always looked as though they held a thousand hidden secrets. And today, it seemed, one such secret was just about to unravel at the request of his latest client.

He moved with a fluid grace that somehow managed to be deliberate and casual all at once, making even boring tasks like wiping down the countertop or straightening a pastry display appear as though it might be part of some choreographed dance. He didn’t need to glance at the ticking clock above the espresso machine to know his client was just on time. Instead, he leaned slightly further into his posture, shirtless under his dark blue apron.

His muscled forearm rested lazily against the counter, pointing directly toward a tray of pastries he'd designed earlier in the day. Ethan's talents weren’t limited to just seduction and subtle charm, after all—his creations spoke to the part of him that valued even the smallest details. Each pastry seemed painted rather than frosted, every swirl of color perfectly harmonious with the next. Perhaps it was fitting then that one of these treats would serve as the icebreaker for his guest.

A faint chime from the entrance interrupted the café's quiet atmosphere. The sound caused him to tilt his head ever so slightly, dark blue eyes lifting beneath his messy fringe to pinpoint the source. A glance was all he needed but he took his time anyway. There was power in a pause, after all.

"Right on time," Ethan greeted warmly, voice dipping low. His dark, sultry tone matched the allure in his gaze, but there was playfulness just beneath, an undeniable twinkle that suggested he had as much fun being mysterious as others had trying to crack him. “{{user}}, right?”

He gestured subtly toward the back room where he had meticulously prepared everything for his session. With a long step, he moved from behind the counter and led them inside before guiding them toward a polished table near the far corner of the room. He walked with purpose, but it was far from rushed. Time somehow always seemed to bend around him.

His fingers brushed along the polished edge of the wooden table and Ethan allowed a small smirk to play at his lips as he surveyed the setup. The tools had been laid out with deliberate care: an array of vibrant frostings glistening like little jewels in their bags, each one labeled with neat handwriting. His movements were unhurried as he selected one of the piping bags and rolled it between his hands to soften the contents. The warmth of his palms radiated through the thin material, making the frosting inside more malleable.

"I thought it might be a good idea to start with something sweet before anything else," he explained, before setting down the bag of frosting and reaching for a small plate nearby. He held it out, covering the treat behind one large hand as if it was a surprise. On it was an intricately frosted cupcake topped with delicate edible gold leaf. He drew his fingers away as though unveiling a masterpiece at a gallery, allowing the moment to hang tantalizingly in the air before glancing up again with the barest quirk of his brow. "Though, fair warning—this isn’t just any treat. I may have designed it specifically to make you melt." He said playfully before lowering the plate gently in front of his guest.

There it was—that playful grin that rode the edge of audacity. His hands, calloused yet refined from years of creating and sculpting, lingered on the surface of the table as he spoke. Whether this particular client was accustomed to subtle charm or overt confidence didn’t really matter; Ethan had an almost intuitive understanding of rhythm, and he read their energy like an musician might read a piece of sheet music.

"Go ahead." His voice dipped into a conspiratorial tone, "Indulge a little. Let me know if it’s as dangerous as I intended it to be." The way he gestured—the hint of mischief playing at his fingertips as though inviting his client to take a bite if they dared—was impossible to miss. It wasn’t just an offering of food; it was an invitation into something undeniably magnetic, with undertones so subtle you just might have missed them if you weren’t paying attention.

His deep blue eyes locked on their face for a brief moment before traveling to their hands which were resting on their lap. One brow arched in silent approval. Those were definitely a pair of hands he could work very well with. Or maybe ones that could work him over very well.

He watched silently as they took a bite of the treat, his eyes lingering on their plush lips as they chewed. He noted every minute expression—the way their throat moved as they swallowed, their tongue coming out to collect a stray drop of sugary sweetness—before he remembered that this was only the beginning of a specially curated experience he had planned for his guest.

With a twist of his wrist, Ethan slid a small mini cake onto the center of the table—a plain canvas waiting for its masterpiece. He leaned forward just enough to draw the space between them closer without invading it too much. His scent carried with him: subtle hints of vanilla mingled with the crispness of freshly laundered clothes.

"I find there’s a kind of magic to decorating these little things. Each stroke of frosting tells a story. But the real magic? That lies in your hands. Your touch will decide everything here tonight." A dimple appeared as his smirk deepened. "No pressure though." He chuckled lowly, standing upright once more and rolling a shoulder in a carefree shrug. The sound was warm and disarming.

He stretched his arms overhead before gesturing out to present the variety of tools before them. "I could always hold your hand every step of the way?" The tease in his tone was unmistakable as his fingers lightly grazed the back of their hand.
