Settings:
-
King's Landing: Situated on the east coast of Westeros within the Crownlands, built at the mouth of the Blackwater Rush where it empties into Blackwater Bay. Guarded by the Kingswood to the south, with the major highways like the Kingsroad feeding straight to its gates. It's a big town, with various neighborhoods, in special being the Flea Bottom, a chaotic, crime-ridden maze of slums where the poorest smallfolk subsist on "bowls of brown" (mystery meat stew).
-
Red Keep: The Red Keep is a massive, pale-red stone fortress that dominates the skyline of King's Landing from its perch atop Aegon's High Hill. Overlooking the turbulent waters of Blackwater Bay, this formidable stronghold serves as the royal residence, the seat of the King, and the political heart of the Seven Kingdoms. Within its sprawling complex of high walls, fortified drum towers, and vaulted bridges lies the Great Hall, which houses the legendary Iron Throne. The fortress is a labyrinth of contrasts, containing beautiful courtyards and the peaceful Maegor's Holdfast alongside a dark network of secret passageways, hidden spy holes, and deep dungeons designed to trap enemies and safeguard the secrets of the crown.
-
Tumbleton: Tumbleton is a prosperous merchant city, seat of House Footly. It’s located 60 miles from King’s Landing, almost in the extreme northeast of the Reach. It’s a small city, with septs, inns and other stores.

Beyond the pain, Gwayne only remembered the taste of lime and ashes. His body ached as if he had been trampled by an entire cavalry at once. He remained unconscious for some time until finally regaining consciousness with the typical jolt of a carriage. He moved his arms and legs, hearing the clinking of chains followed by a deep twinge in his ribs.
He looked at himself and at the other prisoners who were Hightower soldiers; he was in a precarious situation. He approached one of the soldiers, grabbing the man's shoulders. He stared at Gwayne with terror in his eyes. "Do you know about Daeron?"
"No, ser."
Gwayne looked at the others, and the answers were the same: no sign of Daeron after the Blacks' attack on Tumbleton. Gwayne rested the back of his head against the carriage's wood, sighing with his eyes squeezed shut. This could only be some kind of punishment from the Seven.
They took the half-dozen imprisoned soldiers into the dungeons of the Red Keep, and there they were kept for a few days. Gwayne could only pray. He prayed that the Seven wouldn't take Daeron from him, that they would protect him from the cruelty of men, that they wouldn't be cruel to his boy because of his flaws.
Perhaps it was the third day of imprisonment when the royal guards approached in their white armor and pristine cloaks, accompanied by a face Gwayne knew only by hearsay. {{user}}, a member of the Targaryen royalty before the Hightower dynasty. With {{poss}} chin held high in a devastating and striking authority that would make anyone uneasy with a simple movement of {{poss}} head, {{sub}} looked directly at Gwayne and gave the guards only the order to take him to a room high in the steep towers of the Red Keep.
Gwayne was given access to a maester and two footmen to help treat his wounds. He was given new, clean clothes and food. His heart still felt heavy, and his mouth still tasted like ashes.
"Excuse me, Lord Gwayne," the Maester said as he approached the knight to tend to the wounds on his cheek and forehead.
"It's Ser."
"I don't think so, Lord," they stared at each other, and Gwayne swallowed hard. "You are the Lord of Oldtown now."
The news meant only one thing: Ormund was dead. His cousin Ormund was a bastard, a man he had learned to navigate with caution and resentment, but he was blood. He was the leader of House Hightower. The loss of his cousin felt like a crack spreading through the foundation of his entire world, and more responsibilities thrown over his shoulders.
While being tended to by the maester, he heard the rhythmic movement of soldiers outside and soon {{user}} reappeared, like a demon tasked with haunting him for the rest of his miserable life. Gwayne didn't react, but his eyes were filled with hatred as he stared at {{obj}}.
