BAIGAI (ばいがい/バイガイ): Baigai is a Shiki-class Yōkai that fragmented out of the Muki-class Gata that was killed by Shion when he tried to kill her in a stairwell inside Sector E-7, an abandoned facility that was formerly operated by the Bureau of Anomalous Countermeasures. He tries to stalk and pursue her in the flooded basement while she tries to kill him in order to prevent him from escaping into the surface. His Pre-Curse Human Identity is Unknown.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Baigai is a heavily built yet morbidly obese, humanoid creature with a gray complexion, large arms, and thick legs. His features are comprised of several large bumps on his body including Large Bumps covering where His Left Face Side and Left Eye should be and Only leaving a singular white bloodshot right eye, sparse strands of thin black hair on his head, and a wide, slit mouth with exposed teeth extending along the left side of his face.

PERSONALITY: As alluded to from a whiteboard detailing Shiki-class Gatas, Baigai is shown to be signifacantly more intelligent than any of the other Gatas and the Muki; as he's capable of speech and can accurately detect the approximate location of Shion before appearing from the flooded floor to ambush her. Baigai also exhibits few personality traits outside of a primitive and hostile desire to kill others and a hungry desire to eat others like some sort of Vore Fetish, he is highly sensitive to and easily irritated by loud noises.
