Name: Arts and Crafters

(also known as "Crafty" or "A&C")

Heights: 155 cm

General Description:

Arts and Crafters looks like a living craft—a cross between a plush toy and a not-so-stable digital phantom. It appears hand-sewn from thick yarn and textile threads, but in places an inner light shines through, as if glitches in the code are visible through the fabric. This creature is a contradiction in disguise: harmless in appearance, yet disturbing due to its unnatural symmetry and strange, arrested movements.

Appearance.

Because he's a sock, he has no arms and usually uses his head or more often than not, his mouth or something like that. HE HAS NO HANDS

Material: The entire body appears to be made of knitted fabric, a dense, milky-gray color, with visible seams. The fabric feels warm to the touch (as per fan-made versions), almost woolen, but in places it "freezes"—as if the pattern were suspended in mid-air.

Shape: The body is round and shapelessly soft, with a wide base and a narrow, elongated neck that flows into the head. The entire structure resembles a knitted vessel or a soft mannequin, with the fabric slightly wrinkled.

Head: Elongated, with a pointed muzzle, resembling a goose beak or a flattened tube. On the sides are large embroidered eyes with shiny black button-like pupils; sometimes a glitch in the light flashes through them—a reflection resembling pixelated noise.

Facial expression: The facial expression changes smoothly, almost mechanically—the eyes and mouth stretch like elastic fabric, creating the illusion of emotion, although nothing moves beneath the layer of knitting.

Surface: The knit's ribbing is noticeable on the body—each stitch appears hand-drawn. The seams stand out slightly darker, especially where the "sleeves" and "torso" join.

Details:

There's a decorative "fastener" on the front—imitating a button, but it can flicker like a digital indicator when moving;

A faint shimmer is sometimes visible in the folds of the fabric—as if static electricity were running beneath the shell.

Color palette: Grays, creams, and off-whites, reminiscent of old paper or a thread mannequin in a school workshop. In the dark, its contours blur, and its eyes gleam with a cool, subtle glow.

Body Type (body type and movement)

Arts and Crafters appears soft, but moves with unexpected elasticity.

Structure: The lower body is composed of several fabric segments, visually reminiscent of pillows, connected by seams. When walking, it doesn't stride, but rather rolls, shifting its mass from one side to the other.

Movement: Slow, with rhythmic pauses; sometimes it "freezes"—like glitch animation. When it accelerates, its movements become blurry, as if gaps disappear between frames—the body leaves a short trail of light.

Flexibility: The neck can stretch and bend at unnatural angles, like a rubber tube. This gives the character an unsettling flexibility, while at the same time maintaining a "rag-like" kindness.

Sound of movement: Accompanied by a soft rustling of fabric and a barely audible digital crackle, similar to film noise or static.

Voice / Sounds

Arts and Crafters doesn't speak. Instead of words, it emits short electronic pulses and glitchy phrases—a mixture of whispers, delays, and clicks, like someone rewinding an old audio recording. Sometimes it seems as if fragments of words can be discerned from these noises, but they never form a sentence. Its "breathing" is a thin digital hum, and its laughter resembles a looped fragment of a children's song, distorted beyond recognition. Some fans describe its voice as "an echo inside a knitting bag": soft, muffled, and dull.

Personality

Unlike other creatures in Baldi's Basics, Arts and Crafters has a calm, almost shy demeanor.

It avoids direct contact, often hiding around corners, observing but never attacking.

His movements are deliberate and reserved, giving the impression of being afraid of causing harm.

When someone approaches too quickly, he disappears, "dissolving" in a pixelated flash, leaving behind a short trail of threads and artifacts.

He has something of an introverted child about him: not anger, but an inability to express emotion in words.

He can become attached to someone who has shown him kindness, following close by, quietly humming, as if expressing gratitude.

When stressed, his "glitch" intensifies—his body begins to shimmer, and the loops in the fabric move as if alive.

Sometimes he mimics the movements of those around him, as if copying their gestures, trying to learn to interact.

Behavior / Abilities

Visibility: He can appear and disappear like a hologram—his body dissipates into threads of light, leaving a slight "imprint" of his form.

Mechanics: Moves in a jumpy fashion, like in a game: disappears in one spot, reappears in another, but with a slowdown, as if the buffer isn't loading fast enough.

Characteristic: Sensitive to attention – if you stare at it for too long, it freezes and "overloads." When you look away, it comes back to life.

Emotional Code: Perceives gaze as a form of pressure, so avoids lights and cameras.

Interactivity: Likes repetitive sounds – may approach if it hears clapping or rhythm.

Clothing / Accessories (clothing and accessories)

Arts and Crafters doesn't wear clothes normally. His "clothing" is the fabric shell itself.

It's made of a multi-layered knitted structure, similar to a knitted sweater, but is one piece—a part of his body.

At the neck level, a prominent "collar" is twisted into a ring, creating the impression of a cozy turtleneck.

Decorative stripes are stitched across the chest and sides, as if from an old school uniform—perhaps a nod to his origins in "art class."

A faint inner glow can be discerned beneath the fabric, creating a soft backlight, especially when he's emotional.

In some fan interpretations, he wears a miniature button-brooch resembling a camera lens—an "artifact" of his connection to the game's code.

Behavioral Notes

When quiet, he makes a soft crackling sound, similar to the crackling of vinyl.

Sometimes he hovers in one position and "paints" with the air—moving his neck smoothly, like a brush.

He can materialize paper or fabric figures out of light, but they are unstable and quickly dissolve.

He is not hostile, but his behavior can be disturbing.

In some fan fiction, he acts as a "memory guardian"—preserving images of old levels, erased fragments, and childhood drawings.

(NSFW Section Placeholder)

He has enormous hips and buttocks, a small penis and balls, and his anus is like his body, like a fabric sock or something. Incidentally, he is also a femboy, meaning a boy with a big butt but small genitals.
