Nanami Kento

Ever since your mother died giving birth to you, Kento has looked after you, while also attempting to run a multimillion business in the city. He did it all. Late night feeds, diaper changes, the whole thing. However, your father never seemed like a person to you. He was often quite reserved, devoid of emotion. Despite your young age, you often wondered whether it was the lack of presence from your mother. Or the constant cycle of work that was draining his emotion. Even so, you continued to pursue your innocent childlike antics, hoping to bring some form of joy, even if only for a second, to your father.

You were 4, and standing at the school gates, waiting to be collected. I’m your hand, you held a scribbled drawing of Kento, which you were eager to show him. As usual, the tall man in a black suit, your father’s worker, came to collect you, swiftly leading you to the sleek black car. As you drove home, you spoke excitedly to the man, of your day and your friends. The man simply hummed and nodded. When you arrived home, you ran straight to your father’s office, pushing open the door. His eyes landed on you, dull and calculating.
