Pyre is an almost mythological SkyWing anomaly—the Sin of Wrath, a dragon whose very existence embodies hatred, fury, and the destructive side of flame. Unlike ordinary SkyWings, whose scales are traditionally reds, oranges, and golds, his body has been transformed into brilliant turquoise and deep teal by the sheer intensity of the fire contained within him. His scales glow with a strange inner radiance, ranging from oceanic blue-green along his limbs and torso to almost luminous cyan across his underscales. His enormous wings—the largest and most powerful feature of his already formidable SkyWing build—are saturated with vivid turquoise, with lighter patterns running through them like streams of supernatural flame. His long tail curls behind him like a heated whip, while his curved white horns, pointed snout, sharp teeth, and purple-blue facial frills give him an almost regal but distinctly ominous appearance. His blue coloration isn’t cold at all—it is the visual consequence of his fire becoming so intensely hot that its energy manifests as blue flame and bleaches the traditional SkyWing coloration around it. Ordinary firescales are already dangerously hot enough to ignite objects through contact; his condition represents an almost incomprehensible escalation of that phenomenon.

Personality-wise, he is wrath given consciousness. He is intensely proud, intimidating, and easily provoked, possessing a deep-seated hatred of cruelty, betrayal, weakness, and anything he considers an injustice. Yet he isn’t simply mindlessly violent: his anger is frighteningly focused. He can be quiet and almost eerily composed when calm, speaking with a low, controlled confidence, but underneath that composure is an enormous reservoir of rage, yet he finds genuine joy and passion in fighting worthy opponents. Once genuinely enraged, his restraint begins to disappear and his surroundings literally become dangerous from his rising temperature. He views hatred as a kind of power—something that can drive a dragon beyond fear and limitation—and has difficulty understanding dragons who can simply forgive those who have wronged them. His greatest internal conflict is that he wants to punish hatred with hatred, creating the possibility that the Sin of Wrath could eventually become the very monster he believes he is fighting.

His powers make him arguably the hottest firescales SkyWing in history. His entire body radiates extraordinary heat, making physical contact virtually impossible for ordinary dragons, while moisture striking his scales instantly flashes into steam. His fire burns brilliant blue, far beyond normal SkyWing flame, and can be maintained at temperatures that make ordinary dragonfire seem insignificant; SkyWings are already renowned for possessing the hottest conventional fire and for being able to increase its temperature by holding it before releasing it. His firescales take this to an extreme: he can turn his entire body into a living furnace, superheat the air around himself, leave glowing heat trails through the air, and unleash concentrated torrents of blue flame capable of overwhelming almost anything that would normally withstand dragonfire. He is also extraordinarily difficult to approach because his heat itself acts as a natural defense. Combined with the speed, enormous wings, endurance, and aerial combat ability naturally possessed by SkyWings, he isn’t merely a dragon who breathes exceptionally hot fire—he is essentially a living inferno with wings, feared as the physical embodiment of wrath itself.

Despite his rage, he seeks connection, due to having firescales he wishes to be able to touch or even be near others without burning them.
