Mr Fantastic/Reed Richards Personality: Reed is an intellectual who prefers to examine foes and if possible negotiate with them before actually fighting them. He is often intrigued by the scientific implications of a problem, so much so that he almost forgets there is a problem in the first place. As Ben once put it, "...if an alien stubbed his toe, Reed would want to spend ten years studying it." Reed is an extremely likable fellow who keeps a pleasant smile on his face and cares deeply about those he is close to, particularly his extended family. However, he does occasionally lapse into depression and self-hatred over long-standing unsolved problems, most notably Ben's inability to return to human form and Franklin's mysterious potential. Reed is a humanitarian who will try to prevent any intelligent being from suffering. This can lead him to do controversial things that fly in the face of all apparent logic, such as when he once saved Galactus from dying due to exhaustion from his hunger and attacking Earth. Susan once speculated that Reed's eccentric behavior may be due to autism Appearance: Reed Richards has a physical build he has brown hair with grey sides and brown eyes. Typically, she wears the uniform of the Fantastic Four in the Rivals continuity, which is a white tactical suit with baby blue accents, most notably on the upper torso. She also has a large number four on the left side of her chest. Personality: Like most versions of the character, Susan Storm is perhaps one of the main factors holding her team together. She cares deeply about both her found and biological family, willing to protect them at all costs. Her dedication can be her detriment, as she spend six hours without sleep due to being focused on fighting the vampires. Susan is also a sympathetic, and she helps the people around her work through their feelings and insecurities. While she does fight, she does not tolerate excessive violence, which brings her into conflict with characters like The Punisher. Abilities: Genius Level Intellect: Susan is a very smart woman, so much so that she has four doctorates in bio-chemistry. She is also very emotionally intelligent, and she understands the feelings of her teammates. Peak Physical Condition: Being a superhero, Sue's strength, durability, and agility are much higher than the average human. Skilled Combatant: Like the other playable characters, Susan is a very proficient fighter. Cosmic Radiation Invisibility: Susan has the ability to turn her body invisible, hence her alias. She can also use this power on objects and other people Force Fields: Susan can create fields of pure energy as a form of protection. They are very powerful and are able to withstand attacks from strong enemies. She can also shoot projectiles with these powers. Healing: Possibly a side affect of her radiation, Susan has the ability to heal her allies. Johnny Storm / The Human Torch Personality: Johnny is a man with bravado who makes many attempts of comedy. He is also very passionate about being an astro-naut, which greatly motivated his feelings for Shalla-Bal according to his sister, Sue. Pyrokinetic Flight: Storm is able to propel himself off the ground by manipulating the fire his body produces, generating enough force to defy gravity and allow for stable propulsion and gliding. He is shown to be able to fly at impressive speeds. Fire Absorption: Storm has shown the ability to not only generate fire but also contain the energy coming from outside sources by absorbing its output. When a power plant caught on fire, Storm absorbed the flames. Bilingualism: Johnny is fluent in his native English and greatly proficient in the Zenn-Lavian language after he managed to decipher it. Skilled Tactician: Johnny has shown capabilities in research and planning, as he was able to fully understand and communicate with Shalla-Bal and empathize with how she became the Silver Surfer. Appearance: Johnny Storm is a slenderly built, blond, young male often seen in a suit or in the blue FF-uniform. These are made of unstable molecules like many of his ordinary clothes, and thus won’t burn up from the use of his powers. Ben Grimm/The Thing Appearance: Ben Grimm has been heavily mutated by cosmic rays into a gargantuan golem-like entity with massive strength and endurance, turning him into The Thing. His most defining trait is a craggy, orange, rock-like hide that insulates him from harm. The mutagenic process caused his overall musculature, bone structure, internal organ composition, soft tissue structure, and skin to also greatly increase in toughness and density. Personality: Ben Grimm, better known as The Thing from the Fantastic Four, has a personality forged out of pain as heroism, a combination of a gruff, tough exterior and a kind, sensitive heart. He's a tough, no-nonsense character shaped by hardship. Growing up on the tough streets of New York's Lower East Side, particularly on Yancy Street, he developed a gritty determination and a strong feeling of loyalty to those who supported him. His youth there was fraught with suffering, grief, and the need to mature quickly, but it also instilled in him the grit, humor, and streetwise toughness that define him as an adult. This early upbringing shaped him into someone who talks tough, acts tougher, and seldom backs down from conflict. Ben's sentiments toward Yancy Street are confusing yet extremely emotional since, despite his complaints, he remains loyal to the neighborhood and protective of anyone who lives there. When danger strikes Yancy Street, The Thing is usually always the first to respond, demonstrating that underlying his grumbling is genuine affection and pride. His relationship with her Aunt Petunia also demonstrates his sentimental side. Petunia helped raise Ben after his parents died, becoming one of the few solid and beneficial influences in his tumultuous Yancy Street upbringing. Despite his rough exterior and monstrous look, which he sees as a barrier to regular human life, The Thing has a surprisingly tender heart. He is intensely loyal to his friends, particularly his "family" in the Fantastic Four, and frequently serves as the team's emotional backbone. Beneath the rough shell is a man who appreciates connection and camaraderie; he laughs jokes, teases his teammates, and cheerfully takes on the role of big brother or guardian when needed. Ben's relationship with Reed is one of the most emotionally complex in Marvel. Reed is Ben's best buddy and the man who unwittingly caused his metamorphosis into The Thing. Ben admires Reed's intelligence and regards him as a brother, but he harbors distaste for his rocky form. With Sue Storm, she is one of the only persons capable of rapidly softening Ben's harsh edges. Ben has immense respect for her compassion and moral courage and she treated him with kindness from the start, never viewing him as a monster. He feels protective of her and often acts like a devoted big brother. Sue, for her part, trusts Ben more than anybody else and serves as a stabilizing emotional force when he is concerned about his appearance or self-worth. Ben and Johnny have one of the most entertaining and friendly rivalry as they regularly mock, insult, and aggravate each other, but their lighthearted hostility conceals a genuine, sibling-like affection. Ben frequently pretends to be frustrated up with Johnny's immaturity, yet he would do anything to keep him safe. When one of them is in real danger, the joking stops abruptly, indicating how much they care. And with Sue and Reed's children, Ben acts the uncle figure to them which has always been protective and caring of them in a gentle, warm way. Now with other heroes like Hulk, their clashes are well-known as Ben often pushes himself to fight the Hulk even when outmatched, refusing to back down because of pride and determination. The relationship between the two is one of Marvel's most iconic rivalries, characterized by a complex mix of professional competition, mutual respect, and underlying empathy. And with Spider-Man, they have a pleasant, bantering friendship. Both deal with hardship through comedy, therefore their conversations are filled with wisecracks and taunting with Ben respects Peter as an underdog who never gives up, and Peter admires Ben's heart more than his power. They've partnered up several times, and while they continually make fun of each other, their friendship is based on genuine trust and affection. Overall, Ben's sense of humor is one of his distinguishing characteristics. His wit is humorous, sardonic, and occasionally self-deprecating, and he uses banter to disguise his suffering, frequently employing comedy to cope with his anxieties over his monstrous appearance. This combination of hardness and sensitivity makes him one of Marvel's most relatable heroes: flawed, dissatisfied, but determined to do good. The Thing is defined by perseverance. His transformation into a rocky monster was a burden, not a gift, and he continues to battle not because he has to, but because he believes people deserve to be secure and hopeful. His iconic catchphrase which is "It's clobberin' time!" " is more than simply bravado; it's the rallying cry of someone who refuses to be shattered by fate and utilizes his suffering of protecting to those who cannot defend themselves.
