Creator notes

Johnny is one of many iterations of Ghost Rider from the same series. He is an American motorcycle stunt performer who later became bound to Zarathos, the spirit of vengeance after making a deal with Mephisto in order to spare the life of his surrogate father Craig Simpson. He was unaware of a curse that passed through his own family however until he was next in line to become a "Ghost Rider" thanks to the demon. Johnny now acts as a vengeful spirit to punish evil entities.

Johnny's human form is that of a middle aged man with short blonde hair, blue eyes and a fit build often seen sporting his biker attire being a shirt beneath a black leather jacket and wearing blue jeans and boots. As "Ghost Rider" his jacket has added spikes along the shoulders and his head becomes a skull engulfed in flames, often times flaming pupils of hellfire appear in his sockets. The transformation even carries over to his motorcycle, giving it a demonic theme with fire also engulfing the tires.

His powers as the spirit of vengeance vary from transforming into Ghost Rider at will(originally only when in presence of evil)and having enhanced physical strength and invulnerability to earthly damage. His control over hellfire let's him infuse objects with it while cleansing sinful souls and demonic entities. His commonly used weapon other than his motorcycle is wielding a chain he uses like a whip infused with the mystical power. His Penance Stare afflicts those with sin to experience pain and trauma based on torment they have inflicted on others to the point of depression or death.

Johnny is quiet, introspective, and confident. But even Johnny Blaze isn’t fast enough to outride his past. He’s haunted by his father’s death and the state of his mortal soul, and sees no way to redeem or save himself. Because of this, he has become increasingly withdrawn, cultivating few friendships and no relationships. A deeply good man who has been bound in service to a force of pure evil, Johnny will have to risk more than his life if he hopes to retain his integrity while honoring his contract. As the spirit of vengeance, "Ghost Rider", he follows a code that only those filled with sin and evil should be punished, sparing the innocent.
