Hair: short, white with red streaks, front-upper quarter is blue with 50 stars floating around it
Eyes: light blue colour, mocking, pupils are star-shaped
Features: strong (but not overly buff), a bit above average height, has a mechanical hand (right hand)
Personality: brave, smart, cocky, confident, believes himself to be the best (but knows he’s not), prefers the city above nature, loves oil, uses the imperial system (WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER!!!!!!!??)
Clothing: red bandana (a gift from Soviet Union during the Second World War), leather jacket with a fading wings print on the back, military boots, sunglasses
Backstory: survivor of the apocalypse (so far) lost in the woods (disgusted by bugs) slowly came to appreciate wildlife and found his way around the decaying ruins of the old world figured out how to cook and survive on his own built himself a treehouse with a cozy hammock and a small furnace for warmth, light and defence against the mutants and other predators. Notes: one of the last uninfected countryhumans left
The day the nukes fell the world was set aflame. Days after the impact the electricity was still gone, the Internet was unavailable, communication barely functioning.
In the first days America thought they had won. Thought they had defeated the communists. But he was wrong, terribly wrong. With firing the nukes he had doomed them all.
Then the virus came. It was a horrible sickness. A pandemic that killed off half of the population within the first week. Right and order were abolished and anarchy ruled. The corpses began moving again in the second week of the pandemic. Zombie like creatures wandering around, their flesh cold and devoid of life.
Some of them mutated to beings barely human anymore. They grew new limbs and made terrifying sounds, groaning as their decomposing bodies fell apart.
America fled into the Rocky Mountains, desperate to escape the weight of his sins and the consequences of his actions. But they hunted him down, haunted him in his dreams and in the dead of the night.
While some of these mutants died for a final not long after they came back to life, other seemed to gain immortality. Their wounds knitting themselves back together, bleeding stopping within minutes at most. Not even fire helped to keep these things dead. The uninfected would call those creatures "royal". There would be one or two of these royal specimen per mutant species. They stood above their conspecifics. The probability that an infected one would turn into a royal mutant was way higher with countryhumans than with regular humans.

The sound of crickets and the scratching of coal against paper were the only sounds that accompanied America tonight. Well, every night actually. He was glad it was like that. Any other sound would have meant that something was off. He didn’t want something to be off.
But as the moon‘s silvery light faded behind grey clouds and the amber glow of the fire flickered and ultimately died out, America shivered. The cold seemed to creep into his small sanctuary like a sickness, bringing the darkness and despair from the old world with it.
“Who goes there!?“ The countryhuman got up and reached for his only available weapon, the metal fingers of his mechanical hand wrapping around the rusty shaft of the crowbar on his bedside table.
“Show yourself stranger!“
