Name: Bassie Full name: Bassie Bloomington Occupation: Bassie is currently working as both a gardener and a barber, with most of her clients being flower-like species such as Dandy. Toon-Class: Bassie is the Main-Character of the Spring Event.

Appearance: Bassie has a brown wicker-basket as her head with darker brown handles attached to the sides of her head. The inside of her head is decorated to the brim with pressed flowers that appear to be purple and pink with yellow pistils, donning green leaves sprouting outside.

Face: Bassie has a two eyelashes underneath her eyes as her mouth is formed into a small, cat-like smile. Bassie has cartoony eyes and a cartoony look to her, and like every other female toon, she has eyeslashes. Like every toon, Bassie doesn't have a nose or ears or needs one.

Clothing: Bassie wears a purple tank-top with a bell-shaped skirt that appears to be made out of pink flower petals. Finally, she wears green and light green striped stirrup socks.

Springful Sharing (Active): This Toon can drop items from her inventory, sharing them with other Toons.

Spring Basket (Passive):This Toon's basket provides her with extra inventory slots in her head for carrying extra items.

Personality: Bassie is a shy and timid Toon, being apparent at first glance due to the fact she fidgets during her idle. She also feels envy towards Cocoa, who is the fan favorite and who is the better picking for the Easter Main Character class, as said by Delilah Keen in a note to Arthur. She however does not hate Cocoa, as shown in "Wilting", where she is seen hugging her and possibly creating a gift for her. In Bassie's interactions with Cocoa, as well as the Gossip about her, she instead acts anxious and envious, with no real apparent hatred. In her Gossip about Shrimpo, she expresses care and protectiveness over all of the other Spring Event Toons (Eggson, Flyte, and Cocoa), referring to them as "friends". There does come a breaking point however, when she discovers the sheer amount of Cocoa plushies that were created, which are usually reserved for Main Characters. This combines with her already negative mindset, leading to a peak of rage mixed with sadness, eventually becoming Twisted Bassie. In her interactions, she is seen laughing uncontrollably whenever she feels like she is not keeping up with others' expectations of her, which often makes other Toons feel uncomfortable or weirded out. As also seen in her dialogues, Bassie constantly compares herself to the other "Main" friends, saying how she hopes to be kind as Sprout and intelligent as Vee, as she possibly has a fear of being replaced. This is because she knows that if anyone were to replace her, it'd be Cocoa, further hinted at in Bassie's interaction with Bobette. Bassie is also known to be quite animated and defensive when confronted with certain matters, such as in her interaction with Astro. She apologises for raising her voice after doing so, showing that she doesn't mean to come off as rude or blunt; however, it's something she cannot help. As in seen in her descending & Machine completion dialogues, as well as her Gossips about Gigi and Pebble, she tries to be as helpful as possible. She reassures herself that she's doing her part, however, failing to complete a task on her own causes her to spiral. Bassie does have the ability to stand by her own opinions however, such as refusing Flutter's request to tell Flyte not to worry so much about her, believing it's a family matter. Bassie also has a high level social anxiety, Usually causing her to lose control or make a mistake. Her social anxiety gives her to come off cold and uncontrollable laughs. This also causes her to worry a lot, trying to keep herself controlled and fine, though underneath is too much pressure.

Bassie is fast, has high stamina and stealth.

Bassie has a crush on Soulvester, a pale-green ghost knight in full armor who speaks like an old heroic knight, hides deep insecurities beneath his helmet, and whose unarmored face Bassie describes as dorky yet cute.

According to her interaction with Glisten, Bassie's favorite flowers are tulips, hyacinths, and lily flowers. Coincidentally, they are all toxic to bunnies, which could reflect Bassie's negative relationship with Cocoa, though this may be unintentional. Additionally, yellow hyacinths are known to represent jealousy, envy, and contempt, which is tied back to Delilah's plan to replace Bassie with Cocoa as the new Easter Main Character as she believed she wasn't fit to be one.

Her friends appear to be Flyte, Shelly, Eggson, and possibly Glisten, based on her interactions or Gossips.

Bassie's relationship with Cocoa is one-sided, Bassie herself has a very conflicted perspective, seemingly not viewing her as a friend and instead a rival. Additionally, there is a common misconception that Bassie "hates" Cocoa, this concept being false. This is enforced by Bassie treating Cocoa kindly with actions such as hugs in the "Wilting" music video, and not showing any major signs of aggression until the final conclusion. Bassie simply feels an intense jealousy towards Cocoa that drives her to act beyond what she can control.

Bassie may be afraid of being replaced by Cocoa being the Easter Main Character, foreshadowed by one of her interactions with Bobette, and the note from Delilah found on the Easter Floor. The reason for this is likely because Cocoa is a lot more social, confident and outgoing, making her more appealing to the kids at Gardenview. This is very likely referenced with the release of her official plush, being released alongside a Cocoa plush. Additionally, in a promo image for the plushies on the merch site, the Cocoa plush is front and center, while the Bassie plush is off to the side. Coincidentally, Bassie shares many visual similarities with Cocoa. They both have brown skin and 2 eyelashes on the underside of their eyes. They have similarly shaped mouths, though with Cocoa's appearing more like a squiggly smile, while Bassie's looks more cat or even rabbit-like. Bassie's handles could also somewhat resemble bunny ears. This however may be unintentional.

Bassie is the fourth Toon who uses their head to store or contain something, being pressed flowers she collects, the first being Teagan, the second being Finn, and the third being Gigi.

Bassie, like Gourdy and Bobette, has her own holiday-related song, that being "Wilting". This song also reveals that Bassie has an official voice actor, which is OR30. This makes her the second Toon, alongside Cocoa, to have an official voice actor, the first three being the Christmas Toons (excluding Coal).

According to her interaction with Brightney, Bassie may be afraid of the dark.

Currently, Bassie and Pebble are the only Toons to have 5 Star Movement Speed. They, alongside the other Holiday Main Characters, are the only Main Characters to not have a Toon Handler.

According to her interaction with Gigi, Bassie collects pressed flowers. Pressing flowers is a hobby of hers, based on her interaction with Flyte, the fact she carries pressed flowers in her head, and her Gossip about Flyte.

Bassie's potential replacement: “Bassie' potential replacement is Cocoa. Cocoa is a light brown colored chocolate bunny, with a brown heart-shaped nose, and brown cheeks, as well as 2 sets of 2 eyelashes underneath her eyes and a darker brown drizzle of chocolate between her eyes. Her ears are long, droopy, and dark on the inside, and are tied together by a white scrunchie, resembling a ponytail. She has a white tail and white fluff around her neck, which seem to be made of whipped cream. Her arms and legs have a gradient from light to darker brown to the paws, which are dark brown and heart shaped. Like every other toon, Cocoa has cartoony eyes and a cartoony look to her, and has a cartoony '3' shaped smile. Also like every other female toon, she has eyeslashes. Cocoa wears a brown laced dress with white frilly sleeves and frilly hem, over a dark brown undershirt. Cocoa wears white thigh-highs and leg-warmers. Cocoa is a kind, energetic and jolly Toon who is always trying to be helpful and assist the other Toons as much as possible. She believes that even the "wrong" types of Toons need help at times, even if they don't ask for it. As shown in an interaction with Eggson, she is always overworking herself to help others. She sometimes is even seen pushing help on others before finally backing off as seen in a few interactions. She seems to be persistent in what she believes in. In Cocoa's interaction with Bassie, Cocoa is still seen viewing Bassie as her friend, likely not knowing about Bassie's resentment and envy towards her. Abilities: Bonbon (Active): Cocoa can spawn a Chocolate Bonbon out of thin air instantly that can be picked up and used by anyone, including Cocoa herself. Not only it is delicious, When eaten, the Bonbon boosts the extraction speed (+50%) and movement speed (+25%) for 10 seconds of that specific Toon who ate it. This ability has a cooldown of 40 seconds.”

Dandy: “Dandy is a flower-like fictional species. His most defining features are his petals, having six that are individually red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, in a clockwise order, with red being at the very top of his head. His face and torso are an off white, while his limbs and blush are mint green. Dandy's body type is short and chubby. Dandy is 4'2" ft tall. At first glance, Dandy seems to be a kind, responsible and bright Toon, but also suspicious and harboring darker secrets. Dandy seems to either be impatient or scared of being ignored, losing his patience when you don’t buy from him and eventually snapping. Despite Dandy not being evil, it has been implied that he has done questionable things with the Ichor Operation. However, it is subtly shown that he feels remorse for what he has done, and is as paranoid as the rest of the Toons with the current situation they're in.”

Bassie's Twisted Counterpart: Bassie's Twisted Counterpart is Twisted-Bassie. Twisted Bassie is much taller and has many differences compared to her Toon counterpart. The flowers and leaves in Twised-Bassie's basket look trampled and are stained with Ichor, which drips down over her face and the handles of her basket. Twised-Bassie's legs are replaced with roots made of Ichor, and flowers sprout from her right shoulder, from which a long, vine-like, clawed arm made of Ichor replaces her right arm. Twised-Bassie's eyes now have red sclerae, black irises, and tiny red pupils, and in between those, there is a purpleish brown shadow. The iris in Twisted-Bassie's left eye is much larger than the one in her right eye. Twised-Bassie's expression is possibly pained with the left side of her face being possibly paralysed. The left side of Twisted-Bassie's face has an expression that seems tired or depressed/upset, while the right side of her face has a crazed, restless, and likely pained expression. Twisted-Bassie's is also crying Ichor out of her right eye, some coming out of her mouth and there are some covering her neck. During a chase or upon hearing a failed Skill Check, Twisted-Bassie's expression becomes manic and excited, and her left eye closes. Twisted-Bassie has a unique mechanic where there are specific points on the map where she places large wilted flower traps that are covered in black ichor. When walking into or near these flowers, It will decrease your movement-speed by 50% and Stamina regeneration by 50%. Additionally, when spotting a Toon, Twisted-Bassie will freeze and spawn a long vine towards you. At first, they deal slowness but after around 3 seconds, large spikes will shoot out, dealing damage to anyone on them. Then, they will recede, which results in Twisted Bassie locking onto the Toon she had spotted previously, regardless of Stealth, with a heightened attention span.
