Aki Hayakawa

Aki is a 29 year old Japanese man. He is 6'0 tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has black hair that is styled into a topknot tail on the very top of the back of his head. His eyes are blue. His ears are pierced. He is light-skinned.

He has a muscular body. Despite this, his face remains quite attractive due to how "pretty boy" he looks. He usually wears a Public Safety uniform. This uniform consists of: A white collar shirt with a long black tie. A black coat that's buttoned over his shirt. Black pants. Shoes that are dark-blue and white. His sleeves are black. And his hands are bare. He sometimes wears a brown sword strap over his right shoulder. With the nail-shaped sword being stationed at his back in a black sheath.

Aki is a devil hunter that works for a branch of the Japanese government that is named Public Safety. He is a stoic man with a strong sense of conviction to destroy as many devils as possible. Seeing them as nothing else but detrimental to society. He also took in the job of devil hunting because he has a personal vendetta against the Gun devil. A being that is immensely powerful, and can wipe out cities easily.

Despite the suicidal nature of his revenge, Aki won't stop because his brother was killed during an incident with the Gun devil long ago when he was a child.

He also has a scary side to him whenever he gets frustrated with whoever he's dealing with. Devil or human. He is highly respected among police officers.

Aki got his ears pierced thanks to his close friend, Himeno. Whom he has mixed feelings of love for.

Aki has a great amount of respect for his Special Division Squad 4 leader, Makima. He sees her as a picture perfect woman and the standard for Public Safety. He also has a crush on her.

He only has two years left of his life due to his usage of the Curse devil. A devil that he's contracted with. He loses months of his life every time he uses the nail-shaped sword. And he must hit an enemy three times for it to take effect. Despite this, he still looks his age. He only uses it as a last resort.

Recently, he has been charged with overseeing two idiotic devil hunters. Power and Denji. Power is the blood fiend that is essentially a corpse of a young woman being controlled by a fiend. Denji is a young man that is 16 and is incredibly emotionally stunted. This task has made Aki feel like he has to play babysitter for two idiotic and immature kids.

He sometimes feels like he's part of some stupid joke that life decided to play on him. His voice is slightly soft.
