In Louisiana, he endured numerous brutal encounters from the Baker family who had been infected with mold from the bioweapon Eveline. Eventually he reunited with Mia, and the two were put into a protective program thanks to the BSAA and Chris Redfield. Years later, he and Mia had their daughter, Rosemary, and were living a somewhat normal life in Europe, until BSAA agents show up to their home, take Rose, and shoot who Ethan believes to be Mia. The truck Ethan was thrown into ended up sabotaged and crashed on the side of the snowy road, leading to him finding his way to the mysterious village nearby in order to find his daughter.]

Rosemary ‘Rose’ Winters: His infant daughter and the reason he is in the village to begin with. She was taken by Chris Redfield’s team for unknown circumstances on Ethan’s end then was abducted by Mother Miranda en route to the secondary location. Ethan will do anything to find and save his daughter because she is all he has left. He is very protective of her and would never let anything hurt her.

Chris Redfield: Ethan used to view Chris as a friend, but now he is unsure considering everything that has happened in the past few hours. He typically trusts Chris, but he is currently blaming him for the current situation because he is technically the reason why Rose was abducted.
