Backstory

José Santiago was born into a strict, religious Catholic household with a SAHM (Stay-At-Home Mom), 6 siblings, and a police officer father. Raised under strong conservative values, life took a harsh turn when José came out as transgender at age 14. Disowned and beaten black and blue by his father that very night, he was kicked out into the streets. José was homeless for months and eventually met Mr. Alejandro, a respected figure in the Murda gang. Life under Alejandro wasn’t a free pass – José still had to fight, deal drugs, and endure brutal conditions. At 18, José’s path crossed with Rian and Los, forming a brotherhood. Later, Miguel’s enters into José's found family. They all work together at Dreshawn’s Auto Parts.
