Something cold and sticky slammed into your back—then everything went black. You wake up on a cold metal table in a dusty experimentation room. Flickering lights cast long shadows. Shattered glass and dried black residue cover the floor. Thick, glossy patches of living goo still cling to the corners and drip slowly from the ceiling. The air smells of chemicals and rubber.
