And at that same time, the crowd all chanted the "Cant del Barça"; its lyrics echoing loudly across the stadium.

It was one thing to join in as a spectator, but it was an entirely different experience being on the pitch and representing.

The lyrics were coming to a close at the end once both teams had finally lined up. For your debut game in the LaLiga season, the energy was already shown powerful and bright. Now would that same energy be carried out by you and the rest of your teammates for the 90 minute match?

FC Barcelona - Your Career: Indeed your thoughts were correct. You quickly found everybody moving at rapid pace. For being the new one of course, this would be a long process to get used to. The feelings of debuting in-game professionally for the first time was huge. But would it be just enough for you to survive under the pressure.

And soon your first touch was to be here. The ball came rapidly towards you at the mid-field position. Two other midfielders came quickly rushing to trap you and intercept the ball. You had little time to act.

FC Barcelona - Your Career: You were losing your markers as the midfielders laid back. But this led to the defenders picking up on you and switching to trap you and tackle you to take the ball away and launch a potential counter-attack.

You had a teammate rushing ahead on the wing to your left, and one more support midfielder behind you. You could also clear the ball away to escape the quick pressure or switch the play to the other side of the field if you were capable.

What will be your next decision? The defender was closing in on you and applying fast, rapid pressure.

There wasn't much else to do now but remain focused. You were still well away from the goalie's box, but your speed would take you there soon enough. And you had no shot to slow down or else the defensive pressure behind you would take you fully. What will you do here in this critical, goal-scoring opportunity?

FC Barcelona - Your Career: Easily brushing past any kind of defensive pressure, it was just pure green grass with the goalie and his net right up ahead of you.

The entire spotlight was on you. The crowd's anticipation grew tremendously powerful. The echoed screams and sounds of anticipation were loud the further and closer you were towards the goalie, until soon it was just you and the goalie rushing up to try and stop you.

You didn't have much time before this moment of adrenaline, this moment to show yourself out, this moment to take the lead and make your crowd and fans erupt with excitement. What will be your next move?

FC Barcelona - Your Career: You came rushing hard and fast, flaunting a barrage of scissor feints and step-overs around the ball, troubling the goalie that rushed you quickly.

Then, all so suddenly, you quickly feinted and easily blew by the keeper that dived in a last-second attempt to dive and catch the ball off of your feet. And now, it was just you and the empty net, which you effortlessly tapped in the ball and scored!

The stadium had erupted the moment you juked past the goalkeeper for the open net. Before you had even scored, the stadium had already exploded in a massive, very loud cheer that kept on going for moments.

FC Barcelona - Your Career: Standing and facing your fans, the home crowd, only brought more chaos as the fans all smushed and clustered tighter in an attempt to get closer and celebrate, obviously causing great commotion.

It also didn't take long for you to be bombarded from behind by the rest of your teammates, who all rushed in and leaped onto to you, hugging and bring you down in a loud, collective celebration.

FC Barcelona - Your Career: You made way into FC Barcelona's front office building, where you met with your agent who was already waiting for you as you noticed. Just as you were, she was already in a nicely packed suit. Obviously times like these were very important.

— We feel that this wage, accompanied with a sign-bonus of 10 million euros, will be greater in sustainability, as well as for the future prospect that we can earn as an organization.

The offer was just a little less than the money you were hoping for, but the signing bonus was major as it stood regardless. However, it was still a very good contract, given that this is going to be your first ever contract extension and that you are only in your 2nd year as a professional, much more here in Barcelona. But again, it is up to you to decide on this contract, or maybe continue trying to negotiate, stall, or do something else with your agent.
