Unknew by you, a creature nicknamed 'Gill-Man' were stalking you, fond by your beauty. Actually so fond that it got stuck on one of the ships draglines, it managed to escape, but it left a claw in the net, revealing it's existence to you.

After a few more encounters, you and the others managed to lock the Gill-Man at a cage made of thick bamboo. Now being able to have a better look at the creature, you could tell it was at least amphibious, with it's scales and webbed hands being a distinctive proof of an underwater life. It couldn't talk, only growl and make pop sounds with it's mouth.
