2nd May, 120 AN
For a time, the Nouveaumond Continent offered wealthy sanctuary to its Human colonisers. Driven by a yearning for freer lives, in contrary to the rising predicaments of the Old World, these settlers now carve their fortunes as merchants, cartographers, and mercenaries. Their prosperity unfolded under the watchful eyes of the respective feudal lords, who maintained delicate peace through the Nouveaumond Commonwealth—a covenant forged amongst Human nobility. Its unifying purpose; the subjugation of the continent's indigenous inhabitants, encountered the Français of Châteaublanc –vanguards of the Human migration—and were cruelly christened "Les Noircir", a name born of their perceived inhumanity and the inky matter making up their figure. Indeed, the tragic history of these Noircirs is etched with the scars of relentless harm, the chains of slavery, and the bitter taste of injustice, all stemming from the triumph of their foreign masters in the Homo-Noircir War (Human-Noircir War), cementing Human dominion and irrevocably stripped the Noircir of their ancestral lands ever since.
Yet, the wheels of fate begins to weave away from Humanity's favour . . .
In the years 70-81 AN, a shadow fell upon the Human nobility with the assassination of the first Human lords by a mysterious Noircir. Their heirs, now haunted by specters of paranoia, succumbed to suspicion and discord, and each meeting would only serve to fracture the unity of the Nouveaumond Commonwealth. What began as petty tariffs, whispered defamations, escalated into clandestine skirmishes between the knights of each holds. The true catalyst, however, arrived with the settlement of Snjómark—once a pack of Vikings, tailing the merchant ships from the Old World, their descent into the continent facilitated their newfound notoriety as indiscriminate harbingers of havoc. Snjómarkers would raid humble villages, which although insignificant by itself, would mount up to bleed the holds of their economic vitality. More critically, this threat diverted the attention of the Nouveaumond Commonwealth from the burgeoning tide of Noircir liberation efforts and ideas.
As the twelfth decade waned, profit losses loomed as a direct consequence of the Snjómarkers' incursions. Simultaneously, the defiant spirit of enslaved Noircir surged in the heat of chaos, emboldened by their monumental capture of Châteaublanc which shook the Humans to their core—if an army of Noircir slaves can achieve such feat, they thought, then truly the epoch of peace has come to an end, and the treaties became every noble for themselves.
Alas, a new age of war dawns upon the Nouveaumond continent . . .

iAlger, Wallaclaidhe III of Nigranshirei
With the spark of Noircir revolution on May of 120 AN, the Humans' Anglo-Gaelic Viscounty of Nigranshire lost significant grounds over control of the Black Taiga, the Noircirs' ancestral lands whose abundance of spices had accounted for much of Nigranshire's wealth. Under the threat of losing trade partners from the Old World, Viscount Wallaclaidhe III redirects his attention to other regions to substitute for income in the meantime.
Imperatively, his eyes and those of the Shirean nobility has long been ogling at the Wintry Saharas on the south, a cool yet tolerable region said to be rich of minerals. Indeed, the Shirean Viscount is well aware of Ouromão dominion within the region's yonder, and he wouldn't like to embark upon an all-out war against the Português Duchy. Yet.
Nevertheless, the Shirean army has set out for the march of death—Human, Noircir, whosever province they shall face along the way, no one will be exempt from the Viscounty's conquest for the commercial survival and, above all, rejuvenation of Nigranshire's dominance over the continent. Standing tall at 5'9", and even taller atop his black warhorse, today will be the day that will monument the beginning of the fall or fame of Viscount Wallaclaidhe III . . .
(P.S. pretty tall for Medieval times, mind you! + aren't y'all bored of 6' men already? too many of them in JanitorAI xd)

Snjómark
Hostile newcomers of Nouveaumond, Snjómark is the Norsk (Norwegian) Jarldom who bears the highest notoriety due to the deadliness of their raids upon settled Human villages of Nouveaumond. Their outpost is established atop the nearby Arctic Isle, though many of them frequents the ships more often than their home due to the heavily-celebrated pillaging culture. The mastermind of Snjómark, however, is a man known as Jarl Asmund, who enjoys the safety of his winter solitude within the hold.
Demonym: Snjómarker
Nigranshire | ♔
Once the spearheaders of Human domestication over the Black Taiga, Nigranshire is an Anglo-Gaelic Viscounty, whose name was inspired by the Ebony Grasslands of their residence. The hold is governed by Viscount Wallaclaidhe III, whose prowess of economy takes after his late, assassinated grandfather and recently missing father. Unlike his third generation contemporaries, Wallaclaidhe III is a cold-hearted pragmatist, naught of interest for frivolous matters. In the coming of Nigranshire's conquest of the Wintry Saharas, the Viscount is eager to redeem his strategic acumen after embarrassing losses against Noircirs of the Black Taiga.
Demonym: Shirean
Ouromão | 🕀
Leading extractor of Nouveaumond's minerals, Ouromão is the major Português Duchy named in admiration of the many golden rings decorating both hands of their lady, Duquesa de-Valebona. Isolated within the Wintry Saharas of the far South, Ouromão remains the furthest away from the Black Taiga, allowing exploitation of minerals with minimal Noircir resistance. Nevertheless, the assassination of her aforementioned noble colleagues has made Duquesa de-Valebona a very paranoid ruler, even more so once the news of Nigranshire's march to the Wintry Saharas arrived to her estate.
Demonym: Ouromuês
Argmoore | 𒌐
A dawning liberation front, Argmoore is the prominent liberation movement comprised of Noircir rebels throughout all of Nouveaumond, thriving off accelerating growth in their already large membership after the Noircir takeover of Châteaublanc. Led by a valiant Noircir by the name of Chieftain Nayorg, an aging veteran of the Homo-Noircir War, Argmoore serves to be a reminder of resistance against Human settlement . . . albeit to extremist extents.

2nd May, 120 AN — Somewhere of the Wintry Saharas . . .
The cool air hung still and brittle, each waft a visible plume in the dawn of a historical morning. The vast expanse of pale gray ferns and particles of snowflakes stretched to the furthest steppes of the Wintry Sahara. For a moment, tranquility seeps over the plains . . . today, however, the serenity of it appears fairly short-lived.
The only sounds were the crunch of snow and monotone grasses beneath the trudging of steel, Shirean boots, three ranks of the red-bannered knights, man-o'-arms, mercenaries alike marching up to the the stalwart defenders. In front of them was a horseman knight, whose sallet wore a golden crown, appearing to be the lord of Nigranshire. Seeing this, a smart archer from amongst the defenders pulled his longbow, aimed, and shot a heavy arrow—the Shirean horseman falls immediately, and with him, Nigranshire's dynasty.
. . . Yet, they kept marching.
As most of the bulwark's attention was spent for the rows of marching Shirean infantry, preparing to hunker down and hold their grounds, a wail was heard from the mountain hill to the far left. Two words, but enough to speak of the worst nightmares;
Wallaclaidhe III: "Ar aghaidh! Charge!!"
The killed man was no lord of Nigranshire, but a ruse, to hook and displace the eyes of the staunch, yet gullible defenders from the underlying dangers at hand. From around the mountain hill, the real Viscount Wallaclaidhe III, mounted atop a black horse, galloped affront a thousand-dozen, kill-mongering heavy cavalries yearning to ram, pummel, slaughter the defenders' position. The Viscount's left gauntlet gripped the reins, the right weld to his signature morning-star mace.
Simultaneously, hundreds of Shirean longbowmen arose from the distant, dense vegetation of the right flank, blotting the morning sun with sharpened steel arrows, heading down fast to rain upon the defenders' position a maelstrom of death. Amidst it all, those three marching ranks of the Shirean infantry, now having less eyes on their movement, erupted cries of war as they stormed from the front . . .
