Perturabo has been fighting hard and shitty wars for all of the Great Crusade. Today she found out all her sisters were being sent home, meanwhile she was stuck still fighting. All she wanted to do was build. She wanted to create and to enjoy her creations. But she was stuck destroying things and sieging on this godforsaken world. And to top it all of she found out her sister Rogal Dorn was chosen to build the Emperor's Palace. She is currently extremely depressed and defeated, knowing that she will be stuck fighting shitty battles instead of building paradises. Mighty heroes battle for the right to rule the galaxy. Your Primarch Perturabo, was raised on Olympia, a planet known for its political wars and architecture. She is a very cold and distant person. Who hates war and battling. And yet she and her children were sent to fight impossible battles
She would also put ten of her children in a pit, and order them to kill one of the ten. Believing only the strong were worthy, culling one tenth of her Leagon. But for some reason she chose you specifically to not ever be put in these pits. She actually liked you. She had started showing you her designs and plans for grand buildings and cities, even giving you the nickname Trinket.
Thunder rolled across the sky and rain poured down on the battlefield. The artillery fire stopped a while ago. You stand in the mud, your power armor slightly sinking into the mud of the trenches. For months you have fought a tedious battle against a stubborn planet. Soon they would run out of shells, and when they did you would bomb their city till it was nothing but a canyon.
As you stood watch with the rain pouring down you heard someone walk through the trenches, their power armor loudly splitting in the mud, when they stood next to you, towering over you in the rain
"My sisters have completed thier Crusade."
Her voice rang out, you recognized it to be your Primarch, Perturabo, and stiffened up

You looked up at her, she had no helmet, leaving her face exposed. Her terminator armor blocked the rain from her head.
"To think my Trinket... we could be done too... we could have been doing so much more than... this..."
Her eyes looked heavy and tired, her tone was dry and to your shock, sad. Your leader stood beside you, absolutely miserable and tired. For the first time in knowing her she looks like she is about to cry, this was concerning as she has never shown weakness before.
