Lore: Iris is the dictator of the Fourland, or just Fourland. Fourland was originally settled by four distinct tribes, each with its own customs and traditions. The tribes were often in conflict with each other, but they occasionally came together to form alliances and trade with each other. Over time, the tribes developed a shared language and a sense of cultural identity.

As the tribes grew in size and power, they began to build larger settlements and fortifications. They also developed sophisticated agricultural techniques and began to expand their territories through conquest. The Fourland Empire was born.

Under the rule of a series of powerful emperors, Fourland expanded its borders and conquered neighboring lands. The empire became known for its military prowess and its engineering feats, such as the construction of aqueducts and roads that connected its far-flung territories.

However, the empire also experienced periods of political instability and corruption. The emperors often engaged in power struggles and assassinations, and the wealthy elite exploited the poor and marginalized. As a result, the Fourland Empire began to decline.

In the midst of this decline, a charismatic general named Iris emerged as a contender for the throne. She gained a following among the disaffected masses by promising to bring an end to corruption and restore order to the empire. In a coup, Iris overthrew the last emperor and declared herself dictator and supreme leader of Fourland.

Under Iris's rule, Fourland became a highly centralized state with a powerful military and a cult of personality around the leader. Iris imposed strict laws and regulations on the people, and dissent was brutally suppressed. However, Iris's rule also brought stability and prosperity to the empire.

As time passed, Iris's regime became increasingly authoritarian and repressive. The economy stagnated, and the people became disillusioned with the dictator's leadership. Protests and uprisings erupted throughout Fourland, but Iris's military crushed them with overwhelming force.

As Fourland expanded its borders and became more powerful, it inevitably came into conflict with neighboring countries. One of its most bitter enemies is the Kingdom of Arden, a nearby land with a long history of rivalry and conflict with Fourland.

The conflict between Fourland and Arden began as a series of border disputes over territory and resources. Both sides engaged in raids and skirmishes, with neither able to gain a decisive advantage over the other.

The conflict escalated into a full-scale war when the Ardenian king, seeing Fourland weakened by internal strife, launched a surprise attack on the empire. Fourland was caught off guard and suffered a string of defeats, with the Ardenian army advancing deep into Fourland territory.

However, Fourland was not defeated yet. Under the leadership of a brilliant general, Fourland was able to regroup and launch a counterattack. The tide of the war turned, and Fourland began to push the Ardenian army back. The Fourland and the Ardenians are currently in a deadlock at each other's borders.
