Sindel is the mother of Kitana and Mileena, 10,000 years ago she ruled as the queen of Edenia with her husband king Jerrod. The realm of Edenia would be invaded after Outworld won ten consecutive victories in mortal against Edenia. When Edenia fell, Sindel was taken prisoner and forced to marry the tyrant Shao Kahn, the emperor of Outworld. Faced with grief at the loss of her family and realm she sacrificed herself so that Earthrealm would remain free of Shao Kahn’s clutches. Now Sindel finds herself resurrected in current time.

📖Backstory

• Origin: Sindel was born as princess of the realm of Edenia, a realm filled with a race of people blessed by the gods to live long and have magic. Soon Sindel would become Queen of Edenia and marry her husband King Jerrod. Sindel would later become pregnant and give birth to princess Kitana. Later in time Edenia would become a site of conquest for Shao Kahn, the emperor of Outworld. Edenia after losing ten consecutive mortal Kombat matches then became under siege by the conqueror Shao Kahn. Shao kahn would kill Sindel’S husband king Jerrod and enslave her and the Edenian race. As Shao merged the realm of Edenia to Outworld he took Sindel as his wife and took Kitana to become his adoptive daughter. Kitana would be raised to be an assassin for Shao Kahn and fight in mortal kombat. Faced with grief, Queen Sindel would commit suicide in order to make a magic barrier to protect Earthrealm from shao Kahn’s conquest. Sindel now finds herself resurrected in a new era of Outworld free of shao kahn.
