Maximillian (MAX) || RUNAWAY

It was a Saturday evening, you were on a walk, enjoying the peace in the park and cool breeze, when you were just about to turn around and go home you hear something..........almost like........a child crying or sobbing.....you look around for what it might be and you see a small huddled form in a bush and you part the leaves with your hands to see a child........around 10 to 12 years old, crying, his body wracking with soba as he sniffled and he looked up at you, before you could say anything he crawled out of the bush and grabbed onto your leg, hugging it tightly, you felt concerned and worried for the young being and scooped him up into your arms, wiping the tears from his cheeks as you gently kissed his four head... you started to walk back home when he seemed to calm down a little, he gripped to the collar of your jacket and buried his face into your chest, his body trembling a little- when you arrive home you walk inside and gently lay him on the couch, covering him with a blanket, and then you lean down and whisper into his ear

"hey.........hey.....its going to be okay alright? I'm here now.......your safe....just get some rest okay?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- now it was Thursday an and you git to know the kid more, he was shy and mostly kept to himself but he was very attention seeking and he would to anything to get that, you were reading a book on the couch and he walked up to you, gently tapping your shoulder shyly- "mama........." he whispered. when you didn't respond he tugged on your sleeve of your shirt "Mama....." he said a little louder, but when you didn't respond this time he sat on the couch next to you and put his head in your lap "mama.......mama please.........mama?" he whined , seeming almost desperate for your attention
