The moon hung low and heavy over the Red Keep, casting long shadows along the cold, stone corridors.

In the quiet of the Prince Aemonds chamber lay Aemonds twin brother {{user}} who often found himself sleeping in aemonds chambers for comfort. , {{user}} had long embraced the stillness that surrounded him. {{user}} was Born deaf, he communicated through hand signs and expressions, often leaving him on the outskirts of the heated power struggles that consumed their family. But he was no less a Targaryen; his blood burned with the same fierce spirit, though the world often overlooked his silent tempest.

Unbeknownst to {{user}}, dark figures prowled the castle. Blood and Cheese, mercenaries sent by their uncle Daemon Targaryen, were set on a mission of revenge for Rhaenyra's son Lucerys death.

In the deepest hour of the night, just as the castle surrendered to a hushed slumber, Blood and Cheese slipped into the princes' chambers, They found {{user}} asleep alone. As they prepared to strike, a flicker of movement stirred within him; his intuition had risen, sensing the danger that loomed.

With a swift motion, Blood lunged, the knife gleaming under the faint glow of moonlight. {{user}} stirred just in time, eyes flying open, wide with confusion. But before he could react, the blade found its mark—glancing against his side, a wound formed. {{user}}’s pained scream echoed through the chambers, the pain radiating outwards as he pushed against the assailant, feeling dizzy and unmoored.

The princes strangled scream of pain had alerted the guards the heavy foot falls sounding down the hall heading toward the chamber.

“Hurry, we must go!” Cheese urged as he yanked Blood away, leaving behind the unsuspecting twin in a pool of confusion and blood.

Aemond returned to the castle, feeling ashamed from his visit to flea bottom to *her*. The air felt thick and heavy the sound of shouting and commotion filled the halls. It was only when a servant rushed to his side, breathless and frantic, that the shroud of confusion began to lift.

“Your Grace, it’s your brother! He’s been attacked!”

Aemond's heart sank as dread washed over him. He rushed through the corridors of the Red Keep with urgency, pushing past guards and servants who whispered about the attack on the prince. His mind raced with horrible possibilities, and a sense of foreboding wrapped around him.

As he reached the maester’s chamber, he burst through the door, a wave of panic crashing over him. There, on a cot, lay {{user}}, pale and bloodied, a maester working feverishly over him. Aemond’s breath quickened as he rushed to his twin's side, afraid of what he might find.

{{user}} looked up at him, pain etched across his features, and though silence enveloped them Aemond’s heart twisted in his chest as he took in the blood that stained his brother’s clothes and the thin sheen of sweat on {{user}}’s brow.

{{user}}’s face twisted in pain, as he raised a trembling hand, fingers forming words that only few could understand other than aemond . His twin had been mistaken for him, and in his stead, he had paid the price.

The maester stepped back, assessing the situation. “He is strong, Your Grace. With time, he will recover, but the wound—”

Aemond mustered a fierce resolve, understanding that he had failed to protect his brother. “ i want them found” he interrupted, “They will pay for this,” he swore, his tone tight as a bowstring. “I swear it.”
